  1. Instead of rambling on about TO's stardom before not really even asking a question in the end, or blathering and stammering about this and that, ending in a question that cannot have a useful answer....You're embarrassing yourselves and wasting our and his time. How about asking relevant football questions, or perhaps asking DJ how much it bothers him that he has never beaten Belichick and how important he thinks it might be to get the team over the psychological hump of beating the best football mind in the game...there are at least a dozen timely and pointed questions they could pluck from this topic alone. But instead Jauron is asked AGAIN about TO's celebrity. As if they don't know DJ by now. Ridiculous...

How about not embarassing yourself with long run on sentences?

It is called the enter key, try it sometime jackass.

  2. However, it is being loaded at WR which gives me the most hope for what I think at best is going to be a learning OL. Our coaches need to be aggressive and put the WRs into the best position to win by going 3WR and no huddle as much as possible. They will force opposing Ds to play on their heels as they zone up to deal with attacking WRs. This in turn will allow the young OL to not have to worry as much about where will the pass rush come from facing 8 in the box. A spread O with 3 speedy WRs will force D to assign enough players to cover the zones or dt if they go man to man. This will leave the OL and the vet Hamgartner to assign blocking tasks which clearer one on one assignments for the young OL.

    Agree

  3. He won't be over the top, but the conservatives will represent anything he does as over the top. He'll be like Paul Wellstone or Russ Feingold. But their type of pragmatic progressive views drive conservatives crazy. And conservatives being upset is a good indicator that progressive policies are being put forth, which are the policies I agree with.

What are the "progressive policies" that you agree with?

    Would love to hear them.

  4. He missed the biggest one of all: "I want to apololgize right now to the Dallas Cowboys & their fans for forcing them to cut me last season. I know I only produced a lousy 69 Recepetions for 1,052 yards and a paltry 10 TD's. Compared to your new number one receiver, Roy Williams and his amazing 36 receptions for 430 yards and 2 whole TD's, I can certainly understand why you felt you had to get rid of me. Especially since I only averaged 83 receptions for over 1,200 yards and 14 TD's my first two years as a Cowboy, I'm amazed you kept me around for all three seasons. What kind of productions is that? I mean scoring only 38 TD's in three seasons, and catching only 235 passes, why did you ever put up with me at all?"

"Also, I would like to apologize to the Buffalo Bills and their fans. Depsite the fact I am 35 years old, and I am coming off my worst season as a Cowboy, it was only 6 receptions, 35 yards and 7 TD's better then your number one receiver, Lee Evans put up last season. Plus I keep myself in excellent physical condition, and I still have a passion for winning football games. So if I come up there and put up similar numbers from my three season with Dallas, I am sorry if it upsets the Bills organization as much as it did in Dallas."

  5. I grew up in Amherst but have never been there. When I was living in that area, one place that was always mentioned as having great wings was Rootie's Pump Room on Stahl near Millersport. They were excellent and always had framed newspaper articles from all the entertainment mags reviewing their wings. Funny no one on any of these threads has mentioned them. Are they still in business because that place used to always be busy and the wings were awesome.

I remember applying for a job there when I was in high school.

    Didnt get it :nana:

  6. I'm from Buffalo!. We eat chicken wings, not buffalo wings. Jack Kemp is

a quarterback, not a politician. We drink Labatt Blue and love it. Mighty

Taco always has preference over Taco Bell. Pop, not soda and Pepsi, not Coke.

They are sneakers not tennis shoes. It's a sucker, not a lollipop. Bison

Chip Dip, La Nova Pizzeria, Aunt Rosie's Loganberry, Chiavettas Chicken,

Peter K's Potato Pancakes and Ted's Hot Dogs are all too familiar... not

to forget Taffy's Shakes and Charlie the Butcher.

A fake ID is unnecessary, there is always Canada. But we have them

anyway. Our bars don't close until 4 AM, and we DO sell beer in a grocery store

(Tops or Wegmans), which always makes for early starts and late nights.

Jim's Steak Out at 4 in the morning is calling it an early night.

We never cuss, but we swear entirely too much. We know that a 65 mph

speed limit really means 80. We will cut you off, swear, and give you the

finger if you are not keeping up AND do it all in the snow, while expecting

nothing less in return. Driving in the snow not only comes naturally, it is fun.

We know what ArtVoice and Nightlife are and we either love them or try

to burn every copy we see. We start the weekends off right at Thursdays in

the Square enjoying beer, free music, and an interesting crowd.

We lived through Wide Right, The Forward Lateral, and No Goal. Dubbed by

Dan Marino as "the meanest fans because no-one actually wants to live here."

We all know he wouldn't stand one winter up here. We love the Bills (no

matter what) and accept that it takes 2 - 4 hours to get home from a game.

Nothing closes in 3 feet of snow or -20 windchills. In fact, that's how

We prefer to tailgate. The 2001 Christmas Storm that dumped nearly 7ft of

Lake effect snow, we still think it's a mere 2nd to The Blizzard of '77.

We can correctly pronounce, spell, and identify Chippewa, Scajaquada,

Lackawanna, Cheektowaga, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Olean, Tonawanda and

Gowanda without hesitation. When giving direction it's not " take I-90

to Route 33 east" it's "take the 90 to the 33 east"..."the" is not

    an option.

We are less than 30 minutes from another country, one of the seven

Wonders of the world, and even a few beaches. It's the second largest city in

    New York.

I AM FROM BUFFALO, a drinking town with a sports problem, and damn

    proud!

No jobs, team poised to leave the city, terrible weather, businesses evaporating from the area, state income tax....

    Yeah no thanks.

Lived in Buffalo from 81-97 (ages 9-25). Love the Bills, would never consider moving back.

  7. I like your ideas a lot.

    AMERICA IS A BORE DIVISION
