Useless? Personally, I am dissapointed with ML. I am trying to gauge how other Bills fans see ML relative to this years 1st rounders and a middle 2nd rounder. I dont think he fares well when compared. Hurts what you feel about ML? Shoot the messenger, no problem. BTW, if you feel the post is useless, isnt a response even more useless?

.............the best draft pick the Bills have made in 10 years. He was clearly the best QB on the field sunday and was the only reason we were still in the game in the 4th quarter. He will be a top 5 QB in the next 2 seasons. Those of you bashing him for a few bad plays Sunday need to understand, the play to Hardy was a desperatiion throw. Even if he catches it it was NOT a game winner.The fumble caused by Revis was a great play by Revis, caused by a non-block by a Bills player. You wanna blame Trent???? If ML could have gained 70-80 yds rushing the outcome would have been different. Lynch blows. He is definately one of our worse picks.

If you choose to tell some one they are not too smart, you should at least spell correctly. OK so they were playing from behind. What was his excuse in the 1st quarter? Exactly my point! He is probably as good as 1/2 of these guys . Which guys are 1st rounders? Which of these guys would you rather have than ML and which round were they taken in? Think about it. I agree many analysts had him going in the late 1st round. Honestly I thought he was a good pick when we grabbed him. We now have the benefit of hindsight and having that I think it turned out to be a slight reach because of need.

Turner is truly a beast. I think he is 2nd or 3d in yrds behind Portis (another 3rd rounder)He is averaging 4.5 has about 6-7 scores and is not injury prone ala ML. Is Atlantas OL great?

Here it is in the nutshell. Bill effed up drafting McGahee. He was good but they made the mistake of replacing one douche bag (Henry) with another when they drafted him. After realizing they had to get rid of this creep and traded him, they were left in the position of having to draft for need and wound up reaching a bit when drafting ML. I never said he is a bust. I am greatful he is not a bust and is a good player. I hope he does not continue the legacy of Travis and Willis, (have you ever read ML's blogs?ouch...) and does not hit people with his car again. Once again, only my opinion. However, I am not the only Bills fan thinking this way.

Those other guys had starters ahead of them on the depth chart ML did not! Why did Turner have to sit 3 yrs? Can you recall LT starting ahead of Turner? I like the cherry picked lists on this thread trying to justify his draft position. How about this list. Middle rounders with a couple of undrafted players. Frank Gore Brian Westbrook Clinton Portis Julius Jones Marion Barber Ryan Grant Willie Parker Michael Turner Leon Washington Ladell Betts. I would take 3-4 of them over ML and the other half are probably just as good. These guys are current players. If you dig back to retired players and compile a list of real good mid round backs the list would be long. I will leave that work for someone else. Believe your eyes, not the hype.
