I'd be shocked if the Bills 2nd pick wasn't Colt McCoy or Tim Tebow.
-
Wouldn't they just switch the most athletic tackle to the right side?
-
It's coming and you all know it...
-
Is there any doubt now that the 4th QB the Bills are bringing in is Tebow with the 41st pick?
-
What a terrible offseason for Arizona. They lose Kurt Warner, Anquan Boldin, Karlos Dansby, Antrel Rolle and now their prized FA acquisition predictably acts like a complete idiot. Plus they have Matt Leinhart to look forward to next year...

Buddy Nix is a genius!
-
I didn't realize that Spiller had 21 touchdowns that were longer than 50 yards at Clemson. Wow!
-
Do the Bills still use the #9 pick on one of them? If not what direction would the Bills go? They solidified their 3-4 defense through FA so it makes sense that Nix and Gailey (an offensive minded coach) would target offense with the pick. Maybe a home run hitter like Spiller? Or a #1 receiver in Dez Bryant? Or Jimmy Clausen if they believe he's a franchise QB?

Buddy certainly wasn't asleep at the wheel when the Broncos surprisingly released Andra Davis. He identified him as a player he coveted and made sure we picked him up.
-
Does this remind anyone of 2006 when all the mock drafts had Buffalo taking Haloti Ngata or Broderick Bunkley but guys like Felser kept slipping in Donte Whitner's name as a "darkhorse" or "sleeper pick"? If the Bills don't like the 4th best OT off the board at nine then who knows who they'll have targeted.

I miss Talley. What a great player.
-
To me Bell didn't seem to be that bad and it wasn't until he was hurt and our starting tackles were Scott and Chambers that our pass protection really went to crap. I still think he may have a future as a decent tackle.

Buddy- Tim Tebow, No Kidding...
Jags GM- Tim Tebow, huh?
Buddy- [backing away] Well...I guess I'll be going to my home now,
and...sleep.
Jags GM- Yeah...me too...I will also go home...for sleep.
(Both run fantically out of the stadium)

The Tebow pick is coming. You know it. I know it. Deep down everyone knows its.The sooner you accept it the better off you'll be.
Hey, get your own material!

Kerry Collins had a hitch in his throwing motion at Penn State, yet led an expansion franchise to the NFC Championship Game in his second season. A few years back, Tiger Woods rebuilt his swing. Mechanics can be improved.
Not that I want to see Tebow in a Bills uniform ...
And you know it's coming, everyone knows it's coming...

Seriously. Why ARE people against Tebow?
I don't know. If you're unable to pick Bradford, Clausen, or McCoy but you've decided you're going to draft a QB it might as well be Tebow. And something tells me the Bills are enamored with him.
-
Maybe we made an offer, Edwards didn't sign it, and then he went back to Baltimore and had second thoughts and decided to accept it? That would mean nothing is official until he comes back to Buffalo.
-
told that no deal has been agreed to or signed.
jw
ADD: that's all i know.
I guess that means there's still a chance he'll sign with the Bills.
-
Hope Schefter wasn't wrong about this, that Baltimore Sun article said he left Buffalo without a contract.
-
I love both of these moves.
2 solid 3-4 guys. I like it. Hopefully this quells some of the negativity and despair around here for a while.

"We always talk about guys who have it," said an NFL personnel director who agreed to discuss Tebow in return for anonymity. "He's got it."Which is why the personnel director said that Florida's pro day -- and the private team workouts, which are even more important -- will determine Tebow's draft fate. Will Tebow somehow sneak into the first round of the April 22-24 draft, or will he slide to the second, third, fourth or fifth round?
"I think Buffalo or Jacksonville is going to take him," the personnel director said. "If I was betting, I'd say early in the second round, but it wouldn't shock me if Jacksonville or Buffalo moved back in the first [round] and took him. Either that or they try to move up from the second to the first.'"

Right now, the Bills have the No. 9 pick in the first round and Tebow's hometown Jaguars have the No. 10 selection. The personnel guy even mentioned Seattle, which has two first-round choices and three of the first 40, as a possibility. But so much depends on what happens Wednesday and whether Tebow's passing motion is not only new but also improved.

It happens by hiring an inspiring leader and giving him the tools to succeed. Cleveland is making some moves that if Nix/Gailey made them we'd be questioning their sanity. But because it's Holmgren he is being given the benefit of the doubt. It's called credibility.
Cleveland is paying Delhomme 7 million in 2010.
