And my point is you ridiculously over exaggerate when you say each played like garbage.  You have decided the theee guys there stink so if anything goes wrong you’re going to blame those three guys regardless.

Last night’s game was lost because of Josh.

    PFF Grades for Jets game

    Bernard 44

    Brown 56

    Cook 64

I know everyone hates PFF when they don’t agree with the numbers but yes, they played like garbage. Cook was the best performer out of the 3 and couldn’t break a tackle by a JV linebacker.  Breece Hall, same round/draft, looked better off the ACL but maybe because Bernard was routinely jumping into the wrong gaps. 😂

Brown had a couple bad things including the false start.  Overall held up OK

Bernard was not the reason they had a couple great runs, and overall the D held them all game.

Cook was gaining a lot of yards going outside, and we win the game if Josh got the ball a little farther out when Cook beat his guy in that wheel route.

This game was on Josh.  He sucked.

Many of Beane’s picks made plays last night. Allen gave the game away.

Agree, placing this loss on anyone other than our QB or OC is dumb.  They really are the only two who had awful games.

You do realize that the Jets have one of the best defensive fronts in football, yes?

Any discussion on why the Bills lost this football games starts and ends with Josh Allen's moronic decision making and inability to not put the ball in harms way

This game is on 17. Plain and simple.  Dude looked absolutely lost. Made horrendous throws. I mean throwing into double and triple coverage.. Inexcusable.  I'm not even upset like usual, they deserved the L. It was like a continuation of the Bengals game for the O. The D was fine.

    Zch Wilson outplayed him

I’m trying to find in my OG post where I said it was anyone’s fault.
I clearly said that “Beane’s failures were on full display”

All off-season long there was a large contingent on here that could not believe that Beane did nothing to address RT or MLB in the draft or even bring in any veteran competition. I posted last week that Zach Cunningham, who now starts for the Eagles and was available until the first week of August.

I’ve also repeatedly said that Cook is not a 20 touch RB.  He’s never been dating all the way back to high school.  He’s light in the a$$, isn’t physical enough for pass pro and gets taken down way too easy. He’s a nice complimentary back but he was an awful pick in the 2nd round.
I clearly acknowledged joshes and Dorsey’s role in the failure of last night. But that wasn’t the point of my post.  The point was all off-season these three positions were major concern and they all played like garbage last night.

They were attacking the A gap repeatedly tonight with both LB's and Safeties

Maybe Bernard was doing that on his own because he’s clueless, has no instincts and was guessing all night. But we certainly weren’t repeatedly attacking the interior gaps to stop the run. Maybe if we were playing Navy

I am never watching that ***** dumpster fire again.  You couldn't pay me.

I do recall a great read and run gap fit for 1 yard by Bernard. Maybe third Q?

One of my buddies i was watching the game with was saying they gotta be run blitzing him. I was like run blitzes are incredibly rare unless you’re playing the titans.  He was just picking gaps and not paying  attention to his keys at all. It was clear as Day. Not only that but he has zero ability to take on blockers.  He was late on a run to the outside and couldn’t cross Bectons face and got absolutely rag-dolled.
He has no power or thump. Light hands. I honestly don’t know what they see in him!

Every plus run for Cook was to the outside. Why they try and force him up the middle is just pure stupidity.

I don’t understand why they put Cook in these

    spots. He’s not an inside

runner and has never been. He’s light in the a$$.  No ability to run through contact and in fact, he crumbles.  It’s weird. He’s a limited back and another Beane failure. He’s not terrible but he’s a niche RB

  6. He’s brutal.  Just jumping into gaps all night long.  No pop. Lightest hands I’ve ever seen on a MLB. Total joke.  To think this staff had Kuechley and Thomas Davis. It’s almost like they can’t admit their evals are wrong.  Dude won’t start for another team after he fails here.  Total joke.

  7. 1. Spencer Brown sucks. That’s it. He sucks and Beane had plenty of chances to bring in competition. Josh doesn’t trust him.

    2. MLB is a disaster and not bringing in a vet to compete was an obvious blunder. Bernard just jumping into gaps was something I’ve never seen before from a NFL MLB.

    3. Cook is not a lead back and has never been a lead back. Not in high school, not in college and certainly not in the NFL. You could sneeze on the guy and he’d fall down.

Josh was terrible today and Dorsey was brutal but Beane’s failures were on full display tonight.

Hodgins was on the PS for months so 31 Gms agreed w Beane, it took a rash of wr injuries for Giants to get him mainly because the familiarity w the offense and i wish him well but think he's a JAG

I don’t disagree with that but we certainly could’ve used him last year.
Which further proves my point that Beane is superior to other GMs at picking the best JAGS

Men lie. Women lie. Numbers don't

That’s great that he can identify JAGS that never play and let the good one like Hodgins go.
Maybe he should have his scouts focus more on the early rounds (outside of this year which was his best year)

Didn't Kirksey replace Cunningham in Houston?

Not sure. Cunningham was hurt last year and is 3 years younger. But one got cut

from the worst team in the league and the other is starting for the odds on favortire to win the NFC.

I kind of feel like Kirksey was their plan for while. But I’ll never be able to prove it.

Something fishy about him not practicing all summer with a hammy and then healthy the moment he’s released.

That’s a hell of a long game for an old average linebacker.

Quick anyone have his PFF grades so I can decide if I want him or not?!?!?

Funny!  I always say people love pff until they disagree with the grade.  I’d be more discouraged by his age but I just checked and he did grade out at a 70 last year according to pff😬

Cook looked good yesterday, happy to see him working the ball inside with reasonable success.  The bounce he took at the goal line was nice, that looked like an inside run from the blocking, nothing there, saw it and made it happen.  I’m encouraged and I’ve been a hater of that pick.

Hated the pick too but he put on size and ran a little more aggressive.  That’s always been my problem with him, he shies away from contact and that’s why he’s not very good in pass pro. If he can change his physical game, he can be a very effective RB. Let’s hope
