I definitely think there will be significant changes this offseason to the roster. Do you trust Beane to make the right moves. He also has to share in the blame with McDermott in this team not getting over the hump and at least getting to or winning a Super Bowl. I look at the Ravens roster and I am jealous. That is what a Super Bowl contending roster looks like. Strong at the LOS on both sides of the ball. Top notch defense all around. Can run the ball down your throat. Can play action pass or run/pass option with Lamar and do it very well. Lamar doesn't get the credit that Mahomes, Allen and Burrow do but he is also a very good passer. Unless injuries play a factor, I think we are looking at a Ravens-Eagles Super Bowl.

I’ve been very critical of Beane even though I really liked his off-season as a whole.  To me, this defense would be humming if we didn’t have the devastating injuries.  Also it’s pretty clear that Groot’s foot injury is really impacting his play.  That side of the ball is a mash unit.
Beane’s biggest problem is  drafting way too many developmental guys and playing them early. Spencer Brown, Cook, Williams, AJ all were over drafted and thrust into action before they were ready. Then we wait around for years to develop but the growing pains don’t outweigh the eventual production.  I still AJ and Cook are incredibly limited. Brown has turned into a serviceable RT after years of terrible play.

He hates the NCAA bureaucracy and was considering leaving before all this.

I'm sure when it's all said and done we will see his opponents had just as much on Michigan. Michigan just ran a more extravagant process.

He's been further in College and Pro than our Head Coach who also hasn't won anything.

He is 3 for 3 in turning around losing teams. Stanford was competing with an elite USC team. 49ers went to the Super Bowl in a matter of years. Michigan is back to being a powerhouse. Ohio State changed signs last year. Michigan didn't have them. That is what Day has said. It didn't matter and it won't matter this year. He builds a mentally stronger team.

He's a polarizing figure before the scandal. Even more so now. But to think he isn't the most qualified guy? He's a former NFL QB for god sake. His family is entrenched in football DNA. He has won everywhere.

Agree with everything you said outside of the cheating.  Yes sign stealing happens. Yes coaches share “scouting reports”.  No, teams don’t sneak staff on other teams sidelines dressed up as a coach to “scout”.  I could go on and on but nothing Michigan did was normal.  The mere fact that Gattis won the Broyles award is the most damming piece of evidence. That being said, I’d take Harbaugh in a second.

  3. He’s a winner but a big time weirdo.  The change from McD to Harbaugh might be too much of a culture shock. That being said, there should be a lot of roster turnover so this might be the best time to shake things up.  He’s a top 5 coach in all of football. I don’t have faith that McD is a championship coach so I say let’s do it.

I agree, I think both are the best in bills media by a long shot. But I tend to side with marino on this one, mainly when you listen to Turners breakdown it's "ya josh should have hit this open reciever here, but..." and I say "but what?" There's open recievers, how can guys scream to fire dorsey when it's there on the tape and im not even a dorsey defender. And Joe does a good job explaining that dorsey does deserve alot of criticism but when you break down the tape the proof is in the pudding, guys are open and josh isn't seeing it or he doesn't want the easy profits and wants to throw it deep.

    Spot on.

  5. Seems to be a bit of a disagreement between Marino and Turner from cover 1 who I think are the best.
Turner thinks Dorsey’s scheme is predictable and one note.  Marino says it’s pretty much Josh. After watching Turners criticisms I tended to lean more toward Marino. There are guys open. Josh ain’t seeing them and locking in presnap way too much.

sherfield never had a breakout year.

mckenzie did more on the football field than both combined.

harty is a 5th wr/gadget dude at most.

    all three are JAGs

**i say it is not a breakout year because anyone could have put those numbers up.

Harty had a solid year in ‘21 500+ 16 YPC and then he got hurt.  Now that he’s healthy I thought thats how they would use him.  Get him upfield  to threaten the safeties and let Kincaid and Diggs work their magic underneath with the occasional deep shot but we just haven’t seen a ton of High low  concepts with Harty in the game.  I don’t understand it.

Diggs is elite.  Kincaid can ball.  Shakir is sneaky good and if you mask James Cooks weakness in pass protection the guy can get loose.  The offensive line has held up pretty damn well this season.

The QB also has gamebreaking talent.  We’ve got the players to put up more than 18 points

Cook is averaging 3 YPC in our 4 losses.  25% of his yards came in 4th quarter blowouts.  He’s always been a complimentary back and this season once again prove it.
