  1. Gonna be so funny when Worthy flames out and all you cry babies look like idiots.  27 other teams passed on the fastest guy ever too.  How did the 4.22 ran by John Ross work out?  Yeah, 62 career receptions in a 5 year career.

It’s funny how many people suddenly turn into couch attorneys the moment OJ gets mentioned. What plenty of people casually overlook is that Nicole had someone else’s blood under her fingernails. It wasn’t hers, Ron’s or OJ’s. People should look a little closer at OJ’s son.. his actions and mental state just before the time of the murders were absolutely chaotic.  There is a lot of smoke there.

GTF out of here with this crap.  The blood was "too degraded for testing" and the expert testified that it was most likely Nicole's blood.  There was not evidence that it was someone else's blood.  It just couldn't be said for certain whose blood it was because of the degradation of it.  OJ did it.  My lord.  What's really funny is people still trying to defend this piece of crap.

I agree, that's a likely scenario, IMO.   But he still can't be paying off illegal bookmakers on the sly.   That's when he has to go to authorities first instead of getting busted in a federal operation.    Gambling isn't viewed as the ultimate offense for athletes in other countries like it is here......so paying off an organized crime syndicate might be business as usual in Japan........but it isn't here.    If this were a garden variety asian baseball player they would draw a very hard line.

And with regard to "Meticulously created and maintained his public persona"?   Yeah, no.   He's hid from sight his entire MLB career.   He cashes in on endorsements in Japan but here you need to actually engage the public from time to time to craft a public persona.

Disagree.  Staying out of the spotlight is the persona.  Staying vanilla, uncontroversial in any way.  Very similar to Derek Jeter's playing career.

  4. This is how I'm reading what happened.  Interpreter got himself into a considerable gambling debt to the wrong people.  Shohei decided he would pay off the debt to save his friend from the consequences.  Lawyer is trying to cover up that move by saying interpreter stole the money.

Shohei is too smart, too concerned with his image to have actually done the gambling himself.  He has meticulously created and maintained his public persona, no way he was dumb enough to risk it all like that for his own betting desires (IMO).

  5. Not only a great player and representative of the Bills in every interview, he was also an inspiration for millions with how he put his addiction and sobriety into the public eye.  A baller and a gentleman at the same time.  Awesome run.

I’m not holding against anyone who says nope, It’s mine now I bought it, I think that’s fair. I’m saying that I’m assuming that getting an NFL players locker isn’t the norm and I’d sell it back for what I’d paid if he approached me properly.

I’ll just stick to not buying storage lockers, I’m sure I’d go broke in no time.

Yes, if you sold one of your best locker purchases back to them with no profit then you would go broke in no time.

  7. We were one throw away from beating the Chiefs with our defense completely decimated by injuries.  Amazing how this just gets glossed over constantly.  We had AJ freaking Klien trying to cover Kelce.  AJ Klien.  And still almost won.  The chiefs, on the other hand, were basically completely healthy on D to start the game and then lost 1 LB during the game.

Putting AJ Klein on the field over Dorian Williams. Unfortunately that decision sunk our chances of winning the game. McDermott chose the safe comfortable option and we proceeded to get whipped up and down the field because of it.

Because Allen has outplayed Mahomes in every head to head matchup since 2021. The QB is important enough to overcome every other disadvantage. If Mahomes had outplayed Allen one of those times it would have been a blowout loss.

Well, OP's original post which I was commenting on clearly states that Patrick Mahomes is superior to Josh Allen along with all the other top end talent and the coaching staff.  As I stated, this argument is illogical.  Something has to give.

  9. If the chiefs are so much more talented across the board with players and coaching, then why do we beat them or only lose to them by 1 score every single time?  Seems to me that if they were so much better than they would blow us out each time.  If reid is so much better than McD and their talent is so much better as well, then please explain this to me?

Reality is, the teams are damn close talent and coaching wise.  We have had very good opportunities to beat them twice in the playoffs.  Sometimes, it just comes down to luck when you are so similar.  We've had luck in the regular season, they've had luck in the playoffs.

Then you're missing out on a man telling the truth here.  I get that Dunne has a "rep" but check these out and tell me he's wrong:

Those suffering from Drought Brain — terrified of another dark age — will soon nestle into another blanket of excuses and swiftly demonize any criticism of team, of coach.

None of this happens if the Bills — ownership on down — operate with Allen at forefront of mind. He’s the most important person in the building. He’s the employee with the richest contract in Buffalo sports history. That’s what blew the minds of so many players and coaches I spoke to for The McDermott Problem. Those who’ve been around McDermott every day describe the coach as a simpleton when it comes to this position, as if he never understood that Allen was the No. 1 reason this team is a Super Bowl contender.

As I write this column, McDermott is holding his season-ending press conference. He says the biggest reason for their turnaround was cutting down turnovers. Let’s hope he doesn’t try to neuter Allen’s arm this offseason after taking aim at his legs last offseason

Nah, the dude is an absolute joke of a journalist.  A journalist puts forth evidence from both sides and lets the reader make their own decisions.  This clown has an ulterior motive...to grow his trash website with other trash articles.  He found a soft spot that got him clicks by interviewing a bunch of people who were fired, let go, not offered contracts, etc and mostly too afraid to put their name to it.  It's garbage reporting from a garbage "journalist."

It was obvious a number of years ago Mahommes and the Chiefs were going to be the team to beat in the AFC for years to come.

Beane set out to mold his team as the one that could beat the big Boogeyman Mahommes through an effective pass rush.

Yes Beane has picked up some great position players along the way, but its obvious with Rousseau, Epenesa, Basham (now departed), Von (I'm back to 100%) Miller, Floyd (and others) where he placed his personnel concentration.

Now he has a home game, with all these guys relatively healthy going up against some fairly average offensive tackles.

Yes, the secondary and linebacking corps is fairly beat up...but if Beane did his due diligence,  it shouldn't make a difference if they can dominate.

We will know by midnight on Sunday.

Nah.  It's one game.  Realistically we have a 60% chance to win at most.  I'm not going to judge a guys work based on something that is basically a 50/50 winning event.  It's going to come down to who makes a few big plays, a few big penalties, and some luck.  Not on our roster construction.  It's as simple as that.

  12. Congrats to Taron!

Pretty stupid the list is basically all Cowboys (9, yes 9!!!), Niners (7), and Baltimore (6).  I don't remember the Bills getting 6+ all-pros just because we were 13-3.  Josh is the best QB in the league, continues to be disrespected by the AP.

I don't get how we have better odds than Denver, but I'll trust it because it's what I want to hear! 😁

But can someone explain WHY our odds are higher? Denver's remaining schedule is:

    1. Lions (Away)

    2. Patriots (Home)

    3. Chargers (Home)

    4. Raiders (Away)

    Opponent Record 22-30

    Versus Buffalo's:

    1. Cowboys (Home)

    2. Chargers (Away)

    3. Patriots (Home)
    4. Dolphins (Away)

    Opponent Record: 27-25

We both have a 4-5 Conference Record, but they've got the head-to-head tie breaker...

ESPN even has us with a 24% chance to win our division and Denver only a 7% chance... despite them only being 1 game behind the 8-5 Chiefs in the West. We're sitting 2 games behind the Dolphins, so are our chances higher because we could sweep the Dolphins & the Broncos only split with KC? What am I missing?!?!

Probably because we can get in as a Division winner and they cannot (most likely).
