I have always embraced it.  I don't get the hate.  The pitch clock is stupid too.  One game without a clock AND they ruin it. Only in America!

4+ hours games were no good for anyone.  Boring tv, too late at the ballpark.  I used to time some pitchers who were taking seemingly forever in between pitches, it was literally over 60 seconds consistently between pitches.  In an already low action sport, these guys were killing the game.  2-3 hour games are so much more enjoyable.

I feel he should have went harder after Beane there. That was the time.

Yeah, because Jeremy White knows more about running a successful football team than Brandon Beane.  Yeah, OK.

The premise that the Chiefs intentionally weakened a group that was already suspect solely because the Bills defensive line is so pathetic that they can't pressure Mahomes even with only 2 offensive linemen seemed mostly accurate to you and deserving of a dismissive response?

My god you are exhausting.  No, the premise that the Bills line isn't going to get pressure either way regardless.  Onto the ignored list.  Bye.

I think the Chiefs understand that they could play only 2 offensive linemen and we still won't be able to dial up pressure.

I think it's cute that you believe the Chiefs are more concerned about beating the Bills then they are about the team that just destroyed them in the Super Bowl.

  5. The 80s and 90s cards will never be worth anything except a few rare exceptions (Henderson rookie, Jordan rookie, Gretzky rookie Griffey Jr Upper Deck rookie, and other HoF rookies).  And to be worth anything, you have to get them graded by one of the top 3 grading services (Beckett, PSA, and SGC).  I threw mine away years ago except for my Rickey Henderson collection and a select few cards that I still thought were cool regardless of their value.  I never looked back.

We are in junk era 2.0 as we speak now.  So many parallels, so many 1/1s (Skenes must have like 200 1/1s it seems), so many inserts, so many variations, so many sets.  People are spending a fortune on them the last few years and production numbers are so high.  Unless its an auto or a very low numbered card, none of them are going to be worth anything again.  Meanwhile, Topps is just raking in the cash.  Personally, I just buy singles now instead of boxes/packs.

This is the most shocking trade in the history of the NBA imo.  25 year old mega star that didn’t want to be traded….

super max contract coming up-  He’s always banged up (AD also similarly banged up) and getting fatter by the minute.  Does Cuban think that contract will end up being a problem due to Luka being so injury prone?

The Mavs approached the lakers about this-  Does cuban look at AD and think that he’s the missing piece that can win him a title along with Kyrie and the rest of the solid cast?  Is it the new ownership group of mavs?

    🤷🏻‍♂️ 🤦🏻‍♂️

what a debacle for Mavs fans.  Lakers got handed another generational superstar to build another championship legacy with

Cuban doesn't own the Mavs anymore.  Its the owners of Sands Casinos (Adelsons mostly).  Cuban is only a minority owner.  They are gutting the team in order to move them to Las Vegas a la John Fisher and the Oakland A's.  The process - get rid of the most popular players, watch attendance plummet, "see, Mr. Silver, we have no support in Dallas, can we please move to Las Vegas", "sure rich Billionaire, who cares about your fans, do whatever you want to make more money."  What a joke.

It's Jack Kemp. The frustration of the four Super Bowl losses and our inability to get back to the Super Bowl under Josh Allen have convinced me that the real sign of greatness is motivating your team to win the biggest game. Kemp led the Bills to two league championships in 1964 and 1965. He wasn't as gifted an athlete as Allen, and didn't rack up the stats like Kelly. But he knew how to motivate his team to win when it counted most. I watched the '65 game when I was 8 years old. I wish every Bills fan could know what it feels like to win it all.

Must have been really tough to win an 8 team league that had worse talent than the NFL.  GTFO here with this crap.

This old man is kind of hip lol

I have a few Viagra Boys albums

We got Amyl and the Sniffers tickets in Boston in May.  This will be the fourth time we have seen Amyl- they rock live!

Haven't loved the new Amyl record though, unfortunately.  Hopefully it will grow on me.  Was bummed I couldn't catch them in Buffalo last summer when they came to Babeville.

It's very nice that members of your fandom organized/are donating to Mark Andrews' Diabetes charity in support of him after his... mistakes that cost the game. He's gotta truly be feeling awful. As indicated by him skipping the post game presser and taking the fine.

That kind of drop can crush a soul. You guys rock. Very few fandoms with that kind of empathy and willingness to reach across the isle.

(Also congrats on your win. Beat KC please, for the love of all that is holy. Get voodoo dolls of the refs if you must.)

Awfully presumptive to think that him dropping a TYING the game 2-pt conversion with about 1:30 left cost them the game.  Mr. Allen has drove the field and got points over and over and over and over in these situations.

Side bar story for the ketchup spray:

We tailgated at Pole 6 which was a line directly across from the Pinto tailgate and one of our group at the time.......the infamous Crazy Kim......got involved in standing on the Pinto and when she did we would pepper her with donuts.   One time I drilled her with a boston creme and it blew up all over her.   A subsequent week I was not involved in the donut toss but she got tagged by someone else and when she came down she sought me out.   I was in conversation with TSW's "Cigar Mark".......who I believe is @Mark80 now?   Anyway,  I am talking to Mark and I hear a "tink" sound and Mark says "did something just hit my glasses?".   Indeed.   Kim had picked up a small rock and thrown it at me and missed and Red-Rydered Mark.

    Nope, that is not me.

It seems that nearly every time the experts start talking about us being an elite team, we have an inevitable crashing back down to 🌎. As a head coach, you have to realize very quickly that you have absolutely no answer for the opposing team running the ball and dominating the time of possession. The only answer to this reality is to score quickly whenever you possess the ball. McDermott has largely coached just well enough to sustain his job. We fans have witnessed countless performances in McDermott's tenure that have defied logic in terms of how well your QB performed and how the games ultimately turned out when it really mattered most. This was our first real test of a playoff atmosphere where a team at home needed a win. 35-10 the way we did it says everything to me.

Theoretically, if a head coach would design the perfect QB to run a full no-huddle offense, who would that be? 🙄

You do realize we are missing our 2 best linebackers and an all-pro CB, right?  My lord.  It's the NFL, sometimes good teams lose to good teams.  Some  times good teams lose to bad teams.  This was our first lost by more than 6 points in over 40 f'n games.  You need to RELAX.  If we don't have that stupid gimmick play that Josh fumbled, we very well may have maintained the momentum and won that game.

  12. Hard to find decent new rock these days.  This Australian Pub band fits that bill.  Killer bass lines, guitar riffs, solos, and a superstar Lead Singer.  Coming to Buffalo at Babeville on August 3rd.

One of my friends was close with a Santora kid so we spent some time together. I always really liked their pizza, but we might not have been paying for it which always makes it better!  I thought this was on Main St in Williamsville, but that was a long time ago.

That is Sorrentino's on Main St in Williamsville.

Is Santora's the place right near the entrance to SUNY Buffalo? There used to be a pub right near it that I thought was great but they closed. Either way, the pizza place I am talking about was surprisingly good.

That was a different, unaffiliated location.  That one was affiliated with the one in Amherst near Transit lanes.  The one I am referring to is in Depew/Elma on Transit Rd.

  15. Santora's Pizza drive-in is ridiculously expensive and inconsistent.  When good, it's great and worth it.  When off, it's a rip-off.  I prefer Papa's Pizza Oven, One Pie, Brooklyn's Finest and PIzza Heist in the Lancaster/Elma/Depew area.

  16. Gonna be so funny when Worthy flames out and all you cry babies look like idiots.  27 other teams passed on the fastest guy ever too.  How did the 4.22 ran by John Ross work out?  Yeah, 62 career receptions in a 5 year career.
