  1. I am willing to blame almost anyone but the fans. Stadium Security??? A bunch of slackers, learn the playbook, and make yourself useful
  2. I have given up on "Wait till next year" only If you were a real fan, you would have flown in from Vietnam on the weekends (lol) But the chinaman is not the issue here!! (private joke)
  3. I tried holding my breath, it doesn't work. Any other suggestions?
  4. Please don't send money, just give me one Superbowl victory
  5. Sure would be nice to finish strong and give the fans some hope.
  6. This may surprise you, but my history with the Bills goes back to the late 1960's ,70's and 80's when I attended every home and away game. I never missed one game for 14 years. A former Buffalo Bill, Booker Edgerson had a travel agency and we traveled together nearly every week and I was his best customer. We also damaged a few hotel rooms in the process, but that is another story. While most of you guys were spending your money on Fast Cars and good looking women, I was on a train, or flying to some remote location for a Bills match up. Week after week, month after month, watching the Bills. When you travel nearly every week you eventually meet players, coaches, broadcast personnel and sportswriters. Some former players in the 70's and 80's thought I was a Buffalo Bills curfew spy for the team. True story! When I saw these players out on the town, they would leave the bar shaking their heads. " Oh, its that guy again" I eventually convinced Jim Hasslett that I was just a fan, but every time somebody got busted, the players gave me that cold, dark stare while I sat at the bar. (lol) I used to blame the fans for being impatient while Buffalo went through yet another rebuilding project. I have spent 41 years in the "Wait till next year mode" but I really thought the Bills had a complete team this year with no major weaknesses. I am terribly disappointed to say the least! I refuse to blame the fans for their impatience any longer becuase they have been patient. I have now graduated to the "Next Year Or Nothing mode," at some point you need to stop making excuses. You better figure it out Ralph, the fans are growing tired. Some fans are just plain exhausted. - Die Hard 1967
  7. I never, never joined the Losman-Edwards debate. Its pointless, the guy is gone.
  8. Your first round selection will require a trade up to get him. I believe he goes in the top 3 selections
  9. Let me be the Defense attorney here... Trent was on a horrible College football team and was sacked or hit on nearly every play. I went back to read pre draft scouting reports and many said he was lucky to still be alive. The NFL is loaded with QB's said to be too fragile, Chad Pennigton, Eli Manning, Drew Breese, Chris Sims etc. The smart QB's learn to play the game with less contact, and players like Dan Marino, Steve Young, John Elway simply threw the ball to the turf without stalling drives Trent is a smart QB, and I am sure he will adjust his game. Buffalo fans always want a LB for a QB...... and the toughest QB's available still get injured every week. Vince Young and Daunte Cullpepper were considered tough guys, and look what happened to them. Paul Poslusny is conidered a tough guy, yet he still broke his forearm last season. Big is not always better. I always believed Jack Kemp was a fragile QB, yet he took Buffalo to 2 AFL championships
  10. I believe it is fair to assume that if Jauron returns the fan base will be unhappy. Ralph will need to justify keepeing Jauron, so I believe he will want changes elsewhere. Ralph Wilson is 90 years old and it is time to place some trust in others
  11. Wilson can be more stubborn then wise sometimes. Ask Bill Polion
  12. I think Ralph realizes he has a pretty good team. The last time he spent any real money was when the team was pretty good and the investment made sense to him. (1990's) Ralph spent the money on Cornelous Bennett when most everyone said he wouldn't
  13. Rumors have it , he is done as a head coach at seasons end
  14. I need more time on Trent's weakness, he is really just a kid I remember the New York fans laughing at Eli Manning for the same reason
  15. The jury is out on Edwards, but I feel better that he has no major weaknesses like Rob Johnson
  16. I think you may be right. Ralph needs to win back the fans
  17. I think you would find the same thing was said about Bob Griese and Chad Pennington. Both were considered fragile till the OL improved and they both learned not to take the sack....just dump it! Dan Marino went 17 games without a sack till Buffalo finally sacked him
  18. You may be right, but if Ralph is stuck with Jauron, he may have no choice but to bring somebody in. He needs to keep his fans
  19. I am ussually pretty good at this guys. If you remember right, I predicted Ralph would bring in Marv Levy and I also predicted Dick Jauron as head coach because Marv was in Chicago doing broadcasting for the Bears. Both Levy and Jauron have been friends for years. I know Ralph Wilson like the back of my hand, I believe I understand how he thinks. Ralph does not like powerful, outspoken head coaches that demand changes, he prefers good soldiers. Lou Saban was outspoken and they tangled often. This is what I think will happen.... #1 I believe you are stuck with Dick Jauron, but his extension may have a clause that reads 8-8 or no deal. This may be the reason for no official announcement by the Bills. This type of clause is common in NFL contracts. I think you will find most of the assistants will be fired. ( They become the scapegoats.) #2 A Vice President responsible for team dirrection and some limited game planning. (Similar to Bill Parcells) This will take some heat off Dick Jauron with the fans. ( Probably some ex head coach with a pretty good reputation) Example: Jack Del Rio, Mike Holmgrem should they be fired. I prefer Del Rio or Holmgren as head coach, but Ralph can always plug them in later. #3 Trent Edwards is your guy till he proves he has a "Consistent" weakness that is uncorrectable. Buffalo will never use a premium draft pick until they are Sure Trent is not the guy. The injury prone situation is simply the unknown factor. The concussion was just a brutal hit. #4 Pass rushing Defensive linemen and toughness at LB will be priorities in Free Agency and the draft. I know for fact the Bills love Derek Fine at Tight End. Take this for what it is worth, because it is only my opinion. You need to decide if you would be happy with it. I am generally happy with the overall talent DIE HARD 1967
  20. In case you missed it, the broadcast team said Losman looked like Peyton Manning yesterday. I find it ironic you picked Peyton Manning as an example
  21. Hello.....is there anybody out there?
  22. Buffalo has well over 150,000 auto related jobs in the WNY area. This does not include over 70,000 retirees living in the area. CNN reported today that banks have called in mortgages to all GM and Chrysler Dealerships . The Bailout has failed in Congress. What impact does this have on season ticket sales from an already angry fan base? If you are not paying attention to this issue, a real crisis may be on its way to Buffalo Buffalo is ranked #3 as the most effected cities in America
  23. I believe the talent is better then most fans insist
  24. Detroit sucks every year and drafted players never help them
