How rare is Tommy John Surgery in quarterbacks? I’ve found Jake Delhomme in 2007 and Rob Johnson (yes him, #Bills fans) in 2004 as the only QBs that have had it in the last 15 or more years.

Not sure how thats encouraging... seems exactly like the thing that would happen to the Bills.

  2. I was at the game on Sunday and say 15 feet from Allen and carefully watched him throughout the game.   Was visibly frustrated throughout, but kept grinding - seeing him get the call from upstairs after he threw that pick in the endzone was something to see - was mad at himself and had to keep himself from throwing his helmet at times.

After that bad fumble call came back to the sidelines and said, "in what world was that a F***ing fumble?!?"

Overall he was upset, not doubt but at no point did I think he was lost, scared, or deer in the headlights.

Seems like he was too fired up for his own good.

I loved the Edmunds pick and Josh Allen. You improved your O line and improved the secondary as well. Great job you guys and I hope it carries over into the season.

Ice Bowl - you are such a great other team poster.  When I come to the GB game I'll look you up and lets have a beer.   DM me if you come to Minny for the GB game and if it's not miserable outside I'll do the same here.

  4. "However, just six picks later came Wyoming’s Josh Allen, whose entire existence seems to indicate that scouting has not advanced particularly far. I like the Bills a lot. I think their front office is forward-thinking and that they have a great coaching staff. Allen, though, is an inaccurate college passer whose key trait—throwing the ball a long way—is used very rarely among current NFL offenses."

Did you actually read the article, or just assume it was bad?  The comments were very fair - I think Allen actually has a great chance to succeed, but yeah by almost all advanced analytics take, the pick makes little sense.
