  1. A couple of quick notes from today... Manuel looked good. Big strong arm, quick decisions. I didn't like the pick but thought he looked good, evem took some repa with the 1's today. From what I could see I also thought Easley and TJ looked pretty good. The backup tightend is blazing fast.

On D Leodis and Gilmore both looked very good as did Alonso. Didn't notice anybody else really standing out.

I wasn't impressed with Kolb, not bad just not good. I thought he was terrible in AZ so opinion is a little tainted.

On a side note Dareus is not a fan favorite when it comes to signing autographs. I stood there with my three sons (under the age of 8) until the bitter end well after practice needed (there wasn't more than 15 people with us). The kids were yelling his name and he wouldn't so much as look over, just sat his lazy butt on the turf. Kudos to Ron Brooks who was with him and got up and signed the kids ball. And then even went so far as talking things over to lazy Dareus. I told my kids on the way home we don't want an autograph of a guy like that.. Just thought I would share that.

  2. I agree with this:

I think Chan is one of the best play callers in the league. He's a great game coach, almost perfect clock management all year, has developed strong chemistry with his relatively inexperienced QB and is respected by his players and around the league.

He addressed his defensive weakness by bringing in Wanny to help with the defense and as assistant HC. He's honest with media and players alike.

Sorry guys but you can't coach a pass rush or will your LB's to be faster and more aggressive. Our QB slumped badly midseason, we had no Evans, Roscoe, Easley and Jones, and lost Fred Jax and Kyle Williams, our two best players to injury, then our stud center went on IR, and our emerging TE has battled injuries since October.

We need more talent, not more coaching. Bad coaching is when you have 5 pro-bowlers on your team and have a losing record. We don't have one.

  3. Thank YOU.. :)

I see no reason fundamnentally or otherwise why we could not try it out for a few snaps.. Those that are mocking the idea are just being snarky, but have provided no substance for why they think the idea sucks..

    Tim-

It's not a running start that he needs. The guy needs to learn fundamentals, mainly playing with leverage and using his hands more effectively. Having him stand up and rush does nothing for his development.
