  1.

Wait, are you saying that you're preparing to sass fellow fans for a pick-6 that Taylor hasn't thrown yet?

    Only if needed.

    Trolling aside -

All I am saying is that Tyrod better have a good game and get a W. If not, then as I see it, he has to be classified a bust just like EJ.

  2. I know neither of you two made the original comment, but if the implication is that Tyrod is going to get hurt, I'm not sure how that's the case.

He had one injury that forced him to miss time, and it was on a horse-collar tackle, not absorbing a hit from an oncoming rusher.

IIRC the knee injury missed 2 games was from the horse collar tackle, the upper chest shoulder injury - he's still listed as Questionable on the NFL Injury report - was the cheaters game and people were speculating if Rex would have put EJ in for a Hail Mary attempt had the Refs not stolen the 2 seconds from Buffalo.

My comments were rooted in all the.crap I got for defending EJ and how he had a horrible game against JJ.

If the same happens to TT and sooner of later he will have a pick 6, the bigger TT fans will take a lot of crap when they try to defend him.

I for one must be on my best behavior, but mind you I'll be thinking about it.

True, though the choice of characters in this teaser in relation to Snow was interesting. You have Bran's mentor doing the narration, all the Stark children, plus Danny and Jamie and the White Walker King. We assume Danny and Snow are siblings (at least half), Bran and the Starks as well, and it's been rumored (from Nan) that the White Walker King was once a Stark himself... but what about Jamie? His inclusion in this teaser could mean nothing, or it could be quite meaningful.

Might be Jamie gets eaten by a dragon as he tries to kill Tyrion.

The Stark lineage - all freaks I tell ya.

When will Sansa's wargness come out?

And where the hell is the youngest son?

I'm sure they'll try but I don't think Hoyer will have the success Smith had. Smith is a far better QB, despite the fact he usually only throws short. D.Hop is good, probably as good or maybe better than Maclin, but Shorts is JAG as is Strong and Washington. They also don't have anyone like Kelce to take coverage away from the boundaries.

I expect not if the home crowd is VERY LOUD

  6. That seemed a legitimate point so I rewatched the KC highlights. There wasn't dedicated double coverage on Watkins on a single one of his big plays. The safety was in zone on all of them and was late on help on all but the catch with 3:30 left in the half when he was shielded by the KC CB. Watkins' speed is sure a factor in that coverage being late and he made some very, very nice plays. But once the safety was rolled to his side - and thus in position on time - Watkins was taken out of the game.

There was still Clay to utilize beyond Hogan and Woods

  7. Not to change the topic from new show to old...

Haven is in its final season and in the final moments of last nights episode the latest evil entity Croatoan enters stage left.

    William Shattner

Speaking of "must win" games, I believe this is their 4th of the season -- they are 3-0 in the first three. The game @ Tennessee was a must win; they were coming off a bad loss to the Giants and could not afford to drop to 2-3. The home game vs. Miami was a must win, and I felt the game @ NYJ was also a must win. I'm on record in my other thread that the game @ KC was important but not crucial.

Time to keep that "must win" record perfect, Buffalo.

    I can't argue that.

I could argue the KC was a must win being in the last 6 games and needing to secure a small buffer in the WC hunt.

This is a must win or done game.

  9. Really, who on here besides maybe Leroi didn't have a "wtf/face palm" moment when they called Darby's name? I had never even heard of him before.

Since I don't follow college, to me it is always

    Who's that guy?

All I can say is the GM has brought in some decent rookies in the past few years.

How much say the HC has ... ???

2nd rd Darby, 5th rd Karlos Williams, 1st rd Sammy, 2nd Kiko, 1st rd Gilmore, 1st rd Dareus, 2nd rd Aaron Williams, imo have worked well.

Not really. Maybe when he does a re-grade (as he often does) he'll have to admit it. This is not an admission. This is simply grading rookies at this point in time--how they actually have done in the NFL--with no mention of what he thought about them when drafted and graded. He also panned the Karlos Williams pick, though to be fair, he states his original grades are based on:

He gave them a favorable rating for Miller--meeting a need and good value at the position drafted.

I was trying to be sarcastic.

  10. Posted this elsewhere, but it's the most negative Ive ever been, so I figured it could go here too...

Serious question as my buddies and I have already started discussing plans for next year...

After the Bills fans helped set a record for Most Season Tickets Sold this year, if we miss the playoffs again what are the chances we help set a record for Most Season Tickets Canceled next year?

I already dropped my family's STs back in the mid-2000s, picked them up again a couple years ago, but I'm not sure it's worth spending the ~$1200/year (plus the additional ~$100x8 for parking, tailgating, and game beers). Especially when we cant win at home, and we end up leaving sad and downtrodden most of the time.

    Thoughts?...

As I was reading that thread I thought ... a lot of people will (should) be eating crow when their posts are proved wrong.

  11. Praising EJ is good for the stock and trade value of building up a younger defensive line. As it is he was a healthy scratch to JJ which says something. What you do is you find a general manager willing to help us elevate a first round bust and go into rebuilding an aging defensive line.

Rex has brought in guys like Karlos Williams, Roland Darby, IK, TT, and we will have to factor in younger and fresher faces along the defensive line.

trashing belongs in the negative thread.

FTR Isn't it more the GM than the HC who brings in "guys"?

  12. Run up this hole, run up that hole, catch this pass out of the backfield, catch that pass out of the backfield. Watching McCoy doing all of this from the sideline is all the effectiveness he will need.

    True.

Stand here, when I turn you run forward, grab the ball and hit the hole. So simple anyone can do it!

  13.

I do not think the Bills' D under Pettine was superb at anything but sacks. Frustrating D in many ways.

    possibly very true.

I will say / ask it again

Who honestly believed the Bills could have a 3rd straight season as sack leaders?

I had my doubts and expected a drop off. Not as much but still.

A lot comes from who the teams play in those seasons as well, for example having multiple 5 + sack games against bad teams
