Josh Allen, Bills do some of their best work in the fourth quarter

‘He ranks seventh in the NFL with a fourth-quarter passer rating of 115.4. Allen has completed 63 of 87 passes (for a completion percentage of 72.4) for 827 yards and six touchdowns with two interceptions.’

NFL local TV options on Sundays explained as Bills prime-time games near

‘If Channel 4 wanted to carry a different game, it would have had to ask 12 days earlier – and that was before the Dolphins looked like a threat in the AFC East. CBS usually grants its affiliate’s requests if the station justifies the reason for the switch.’

How Talking Proud became an anthem for a generation of Bills fans

‘If you are of a certain age, you probably remember the ear-worm boosterism of that jazzy jingle. It was cheesy and annoying – but, as Rich Blake says, it was ours.’

Buffalo Bills preparing for hot LA Chargers rookie Justin Herbert

‘While it took Allen into his third season to find his bearings in the NFL and prove his doubters wrong, Herbert has done so in the first nine games of his career.’

Nov. 26 Bills game of the day: Terry Miller’s lone shining moment in rout of Giants

‘Running back Terry Miller ranks as one of the top first-round draft busts in Buffalo Bills history, which is saying something given this team’s history. But on this day in his rookie season of 1978, the No. 5 overall pick was part of a record-breaking performance.’

Bills’ Stefon Diggs, Andre Roberts lead AFC Pro Bowl voting at respective positions

‘Diggs is in his first season with the Bills after Buffalo acquired the talented receiver via trade in the offseason. To say that he has lived up to expectations would be an understatement. Following the Bills’ bye week, Diggs is currently second in the league in receiving yards (906). He trails Cardinals receiver DeAndre Hopkins by six yards entering the week. Buffalo’s No. 1 receiver is second in receptions (73) and targets (101) behind Los Angeles’ Keenan Allen.’

New Diggs: Bills Receiver Finds Happiness In Buffalo

‘“I said it with a smile because I’ve been busting my (rear) for a long time,” he said. “But mentally, being in the right place and pushing in the right direction: I’ve always been trying to be that guy, trying to have a positive energy. And I’m just happy to be where I am.”’

John Brown misses second straight practice

‘”We’ll take it one day at a time and see how the week plays out,” head coach Sean McDermott told reporters on Wednesday.’

Bills prepare Chargers pass rushers Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram

‘“They’ve got Bosa and they’ve got Ingram to name two guys that are just relentless of getting after the quarterback. They do a really, really good job of that so we gotta be prepared up front to handle whatever they throw at us. They get to the quarterback very quickly so whether it be throwing some quick stuff early and trying to wear them out and I think that’s what everybody tries to do when they’re playing them so it doesn’t really seem to matter with them,” Bills quarterback Josh Allen said.’

Sean McDermott has high praise for Justin Herbert and the Chargers offense

‘“He’s very impressive. I’ve gotten to watch a number of his games to this point and he’s very impressive. I think they’re coordinator Shane Steichen does a great job putting him in positions and they’ve got weapons around him so he came into, what I would consider, a favorable situation also which is also healthy for a young guy. And he’s tough, he’s got a big arm, he’s smart. What more could I say about him? He’s off to a great start,” Bills head coach Sean McDermott said.’

Sean McDermott says he learned a lot in two tough losses vs. Chargers

‘The first one was in McDermott’s first year as head coach back in 2017 when he decided to start quarterback Nathan Peterman over Tyrod Taylor. That did not end well as Peterman threw five interceptions in the first half (the first one was a pick-six on their opening drive) before Taylor came in to replace him. The Bills lost that game 54-24.’

Josh Allen reflects on first NFL start in 2018 vs. Chargers

‘“Obviously very nervous and things didn’t turn out so great. When I look back at it just how little I knew about our protection and our schemes and I should have, could have, would have done a better job if I could go back and do it all over now,” Allen said.’

Bills WR Stefon Diggs: “I’m just happy to be where I am”

‘“During that time I felt like it took a lot of self reflecting for me just as a man and as my growth and my process whether I was staying or whether I was leaving, I felt like my process moving forward after that year I was going to handle things a certain kind of way and it just happened that I gone to a new situation and I got to take those necessary steps and grow as a man,” Diggs explained.’

Bills Injury Report: November 25th

‘WR John Brown did not practice with an ankle injury, and DE Mario Addison sat out for a veteran rest day and knee injury. DE AJ Epenesa returned to practice after suffering a concussion, RB Taiwan Jones and TE Dawson Knox both returned to practice after hamstring injuries, and CB Josh Norman was a full go at practice after the being activated from the COVID-19/Reserve list.’

Stefon Diggs ‘thankful’ to be in Buffalo

‘“He surprised me how much of a team guy he was at the start,” Allen said. “He was willing to sacrifice his time, hanging out with us and (doing) things like that. He has been a great addition to this team and I can’t say enough about him. Just on and off the field he is a great guy to talk to. I consider him a great friend.”’

Allen and Beasley’s special connection paying off

‘“Cole is very instinctive. He’s a very smart player,” said Allen. “He knows what windows to kind of throttle down into and get out of and it’s just something we’ve talked about an extreme amount. We’ve watched a lot of film together.”’

McDermott and Bills won’t overlook 3-7 Chargers

‘”You can’t look at records.”‘

Stefon Diggs is ‘thankful’ to be in Buffalo

‘”I’m happy and I said it with a smile,” Diggs continued, “mentally being in the right place…I’m just happy to be where I am, with the guys I’m around.”‘

Hyde says Bills players are ‘shocked’ by rising COVID cases

‘”Guys around here are still, I wanna say shocked,” said the veteran safety. “It is what it is now. We’re more than halfway through the season so just come here everyday talk ball, get tested and make the most of it.”‘

Justin Zimmer: The Bills ‘Quiet Assassin’

‘Sean McDermott said that everyone could learn a lot from Zimmer’s NFL journey but you’ll never hear him brag about it. He’s a self-described introvert who doesn’t like to let people know he plays in the NFL when he goes in public.’

Bills to play quarterback Justin Herbert this week

‘”He’s impressive,” Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott said. “I’ve gotten to watch a number of his games, he’s tough, he has a big arm, he’s smart. They’ve got weapons around him so he came into what I would call a favorable situation, which is also healthy for a young guy.”‘

What they’re saying | Bills rank among the NFL’s top teams in weekly power rankings

‘Although he improved drastically in his second year, the jury was still out on Josh Allen being the Bills’ franchise quarterback. The thought was, by the middle of the 2020 season it would be clear whether he was worthy of the title. Ten games in, he has the Bills at 7-3, in position to win their first AFC East title since 1995 and ranks seventh in the NFL in passing yards. He is a legitimate MVP candidate at his best and a good starter at his worst. After nearly two decades of below-average play at the position, Buffalo fans can sit comfortably knowing Allen will captain this offense for years to come.’

Bills Today | Stefon Diggs thankful to be a Bill

‘”It’s crazy my coach came up to me today, our O-line coach, he was just like, ‘How are you?’ And I was like, ‘I’m happy,'” said Diggs. “And I said it with a smile just because I’ve been busting my a– for a long time as far as with my craft and with my grind. But mentally being in the right place and pushing in the right direction. I’ve always been trying to try to be that guy trying to have positive energy. And I’m just happy to be where I am. Happy to be with the guys that I’m around, and I’m thankful. I would say more than anything I’m thankful. I’m thankful to be here, thankful for the opportunity. So I’m been just trying to take advantage of it.”‘
