Why Bills-Bengals game is on a different TV channel in Week 14, not CBS
‘This game is on Fox because that’s how the NFL chose to align its games this week. There is no longer any rule about AFC and NFC on CBS and Fox. The NFL got rid of that.’
Opinion: Capaccio: Bengals at Bills: Sal's keys, notes and stats
‘Whether it’s on the ground or through the air, the Bills should have plenty of opportunities to move the ball against a Bengals defense that ranks last in the league in total yards given up per game and yards passing per game, and next-to-last in rushing yards allowed per game. Cincinnati has also given up 45 passing plays of at least 20 yards, and 12 rushing plays that have covered at least that much, both second most in the NFL. The Bills need to capitalize on those big play chances and move the ball.’
Today in Bills stadium history: Dec. 7
‘1980 — Bills 10, Rams 7 (OT) — Several players took a curtain call dancing to the seasonal “Talkin’ Proud” theme sung by the revelers at Rich Stadium after the Bills won their home finale to improve to 10-4 and move closer to their first AFC East division title. Nick Mike-Mayer made a 30-yard field goal after missing two kicks in regulation of a defensive struggle in which the two teams combined for 487 yards and one touchdown on offense. Buffalo scored on Steve Freeman’s 47-yard interception return in the third quarter, the most crucial of three takeaways for the Bills defense. Joe Cribbs rushed for 83 yards, Frank Lewis had 87 yards receiving, and Joe Ferguson was 10 of 15 passing for 138 yards as Bills coach Chuck Knox got a win against his former club. The Rams rushed for 181 yards, 87 from Mike Guman who scored the tying touchdown, but had only 34 net yards passing. Buffalo lost the next week in New England, becoming the first NFL team in eight years to score only a safety in a game, before winning in San Francisco to finish the regular season at 11-5. Losing at San Diego in the divisional playoffs prevented the Bills from hosting the AFC championship in what would have been the first playoff game in stadium history.’
Carucci Take 2: Bills can make loud consistency statement vs. Bengals
‘By all rights, this should be a Buffalo win. For one thing, it’s at home, where the Bills rarely lose. For another, it follows a performance in which they beat up on the Pittsburgh Steelers, whose trademark is supposed to be physicality.’
NFL announces fines for 2 Bills, 3 Steelers after Week 13 game
‘Defensive end A.J. Epenesa was docked $11,593 for taunting early in the third quarter, following a second-and-11 incompletion by Steelers backup quarterback Mason Rudolph. Epenesa was flagged on the play, giving Pittsburgh a first down.’
Construction of the new Bills stadium hits 75% mark
‘Ranalli confirmed that the Bills’ purchase of an 8.16-acre parcel known locally as the “Barco lot,” a longtime gravel parking area along Big Tree Road that abuts the Bills’ practice fields, is now being incorporated into the broader land transfer to New York State.’
Bills vs Bengals: TV, tickets & revised time
‘Or if you’re considering taking advantage of the time change to take in one of the few remaining games at Highmark Stadium, tickets are some of the most affordable of the season, with some $100 seats available as of Friday in both 200 and 300-level sections. The weather forecast is looking cloudy with a chance of snow and a high temperature of 30.’

Top 5 storylines for Bills vs. Bengals | Week 14
‘Buffalo has averaged more than 30 points a game and allowed less than 20 points a game in the final month of the year since 2020. Quarterback Josh Allen has also been dominant on that stage. He’s averaged 2.9 touchdowns per game, less than half an interception per game and one sack per game in the last 21 games in December.’
Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals Game Predictions | Week 14
‘Joe Burrow being back has brought life to the Bengals. They can’t afford another loss, but beating the Bills on the road will be tough to do. The Bills ran it right at the Steelers for over 240 yards and will do the same here. The Bengals will have trouble stopping the run as the Bills control the ball and Josh Allen hits some timely throws.’
