We were both from South Jersey and we kidded around a little bit about that. He never really reached his potential in professional football after a really good college career. He never really got that full shot because of the knee injury.”’

‘The 29-year-old Covington, who died at the scene, did not live at the apartment, Shralow said.’

‘Covington, 29, was visiting friends at the Coachman Manor Apartments in Lindenwold when two men forced their way into the apartment, police said. Covington was shot as he struggled with one of the men. The men fled on foot, said Bill Shralow, spokesman for the Camden County Prosecutor’s office. Covington was a third-round draft pick in 1995. He played for the Buffalo Bills until 1997 when a knee injury ended his career. His attempted at a comeback in 1998 fizzled when he was waived by the team.

Needs 73 receiving yards for his first career 1,000 yard season. He'd be just the 7th Bills player to have one and there have been only 11 in team history.

With 43 rushing yards, Henry will becomethe 8th different Bills player with a 1,000-yard campaign and the 21st overall. After practice on Friday, the Bills running back answered some emails.

‘"Just because I played the worst game in history doesn’t mean I don’t want to come face them again," Lucas said. "If I was smart I wouldn’t want to be in there right now. I’m sure all these guys (in Buffalo) are saying, "Oh, good. Ray’s coming to town. We’re going to get some picks this week.’ All I’m doing is looking at it as another game. I’m going to play it one play at a time and let the other 10 guys around me make plays."’
