Football star Rodney Wright reaches plea deal in accident

‘The charge against Wright, 23, will be reduced to a misdemeanor if he’s not arrested in the next year, according to the plea agreement in Fresno County Superior Court. Wright, 23, pleaded no contest to a charge of being involved in an accident resulting in injury and leaving the scene. After the year is up, he is likely to receive three years probation, said defense attorney Salvatore Sciandra. If Wright does not stay out of trouble, he could face up to three years in prison for the felony conviction.’

Playoff Flashback: Cincinnati Bengals 21, Bills 10 (1989)

The Bills’ season ended in Riverfront Stadium as Cincinnati dominated the Bills, 21-10, before a boisterous crowd. The Bills offense sputtered throughout the game, spent most of the second half pinned against its own goal line and failed to convert on any 3rd down opportunities in the game.

Williams stays, some assistants go

‘”Right now, Gregg’s in the process of evaluating his entire staff. He’s made two changes and we’ll see where it goes from here,” Donahoe said. “The changes he’s made, sometimes these things come off as firings and we don’t feel they are. We made a two-year commitment to these coaches and we fulfilled that. (In both cases) Gregg felt he wanted someone with a little more experience.”‘
