Ethan in Cleveland Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 McD said in his PC that they had no replay of the Boutte catch. How is that possible unless the Gillette stadium replay feed to the coaches booth is deliberately delayed??? Maybe McD meant to say they didn't have a good replay. But he said more than once that they had NO replay. If this is true then just like the headsets going out for the Steelers in Gillette, it needs an investigation! 6 1 2 Quote

BlueRed Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 The entire thing has me curious on the replay operation and access they have in the booth. Realistically, after the play ends they have like 20-30 seconds to “pull up the replay” and view it. Do they watch the play back from the beginning - or can they rewind to just watch the end? And how may camera angles would they have access to switch to? It takes me about 20 seconds to find my tv remote and change the channel so whatever they do must take quite the operation. 1 1 1 Quote
FitzShowUsYourTitz Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 This was total bull#### and let’s call it what is = cheating. We noticed there was NO REPLAY whatsoever before the next play. The NFL is embarrassing themselves. Additionally how in the hell does the play-clock work on EVERY SINGLE PLAY EXCEPT the last play of the first half with 6 seconds left. F-ing Cheatriots!! Cheaters Gonna Cheat! 4 4 3 3 Quote

Frankly this would not surprise me in the slightest, they are the number one dirt bag outfit in the league. Just look at their history…, 😁🍸🚬 4 1 1 Quote

Remember, the Pats went into ‘hurry-up’ mode, so even with the very real possibility that those tasked with providing replay (Patriot loyalists at Gillette?) took their sweet time. I don’t know if Patriot employees have a hand or if it’s all the guys in the CBS truck who handle that feed. At any rate, the out of character, sudden hurry-up action by the Pats offense should’ve tipped off the Bills that they were trying to pull a fast one. The challenge flag should’ve been tossed onto the field. 2 Quote
DaVinci Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 just throw the flag, weren't any players in his ear, and it must of been suspect if the Pats run up to snap the ball. 4 Quote
transient Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 Instead of throwing the flag and potentially losing a challenge blindly, limiting your ability to challenge other plays down the line, just take the time out and give yourself and the league the time to review the play. Chances are, with the league looking at it like they did the Cooks play, they overturn the play on their own and you might even get the TO back under the circumstances. They've certainly taken TOs for less justifiable reasons than that. 2 2 1 Quote

McDermott waste so many defensive timeouts. He should have taken one and then ask one of his players what they saw before letting them get play off. 2 1 Quote

The risk to burning a challenge that early is that maybe he hesitates to challenge the call at the goal line that ended up being reversed into a TD. 2 1 Quote

I think that was part of the issue McDermott has in the past thrown a flag on the basis of players telling him to. But nobody was in position to see so there wasn't a player to give a view. 1 1 Quote
Ray Stonada Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 They cheat again and again, and we're supposed to believe it's coincidence. Rooting for the Patriots is like rooting for Boss Hog instead of the Dukes of Hazzard, or Brad Wesley instead of Dalton in Road House. 1 Quote
Your Brown Eye Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 There was a shadowy figure in the corner of the left endzone, he/she (very gender ambiguous looking) kept popping up in big moments and then backing away out of view Quote

I was yelling for him to throw the challenge flag from my chair, so it was probably the right move by McDermott not to. I was home by myself and feel really stupid for yelling to no one. My dog got scared and went to the other end of the house for the remainder of the game. 1 1 Quote
CSBill Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 The biggest clue it was not a catch => The Patriots doing a hurry-up play. They knew. Quote
sodbuster Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 This goes along with the three different times they tried to mess with the clock. Scumbag organization. 1 Quote
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 The broadcast didn't provide a replay before the next play. So, if our coaching booth only had the same feed we were all watching at home they would not have had any more to go off of then what we had. That said, watching from home we all still wanted a challenge flag so one still should have been radio downed to be thrown. Quote
MAJBobby Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 (edited) Where is this Replay assist. Isn’t that the exact play it is for? if NE delayed the feed it isn’t delayed in NY. And Reply assist steps in all the time on this plays. But the NFL wants the patriots good again so will well do things like this. Edited December 16, 2025 by MAJBobby 2 1 Quote
