DPR4444 Posted October 22, 2009 Author Share Posted October 22, 2009 Thursday update: Edwards not at practiceTrent Edwards was again absent from practice Thursday as the Bills continue their preparation for Sunday's game in Carolina. That makes it even more likely that Ryan Fitzpatrick will make his first start with the Bills. Also absent from practice Thursday were Shawn Nelson, Xavier Omon and Jonathan Scott. Coach Dick Jauron said Nelson had a concussion after the Jets game, but he's listed on the injury report as having an illness. Scott is still out with an ankle injury, while we'll have to find out about Omon when the Bills are done practicing. Not practicing but in attendance were Kyle Williams (shoulder), Donte Whitner (ankle) and Chris Kelsay (eye).
