offde-fence Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 I was reading the post about what our defense needs to be great...and I was thinking that barring injury our defense should be better this year, and we were 14, I think, last year. But, our offense has been injected with talent, except the O-line, which could be better still, and if that talent translates into a much better offense, we could see a more rested, more apt to take chances defense. One of Trents better attributes is that he keeps the offense on the field. If that improves, and we add points to it, then our defense, without the additions, would be better. So, I was just thinking that maybe if both squads are better, they'll impove that much more - which isn't noted "on paper". Special teams will always give us good field position....
