markghbelobils Posted February 28, 2009 Share Posted February 28, 2009 Sources: Stinchcomb Re-signs With Saints I recently reported that free agent offensive tackle Jonathan Stinchcomb was close to signing a deal with the Seattle Seahawks. That turned out to be dead wrong. My apologies. What I know now is that Stinchcomb has re-signed with the New Orleans Saints. As soon as the details of the new deal come in, I’ll update this post. In addition, free agent safety Darren Sharper is heading to New Orleans on Monday to talk with the Saints. Sources close to the situation are informing me that the Saints are very interested in signing him. Lastly, wide receiver Brandon Jones has signed with the San Francisco 49ers.
