I did a quick search and didn't see it posted...

Good read

“It’s a much more efficient process now than last year,” said linebacker Paul Posluszny, who wears the device for the Buffalo Bills. “Just the couple seconds it takes to look at a wristband, it’s so much faster to hear the call and be able to say it right away, especially in tight situations where the offense is coming out towards us already, the coach can relay it to us as we’re going up to the line.”

...

Because just one player at a time can be on the field with the device, the shuffling of personnel on third downs can set off as many wardrobe changes as a fashion show. Buffalo linebacker John DiGiorgio is the second player with the speaker. So if DiGiorgio and Posluszny are on the field at the same time, DiGiorgio wears a regular helmet. If Posluszny comes out, DiGiorgio has to change to a speaker helmet. And if DiGiorgio goes in on special teams, he has to go back to the speakerless helmet.
