I saw the piece on the Chargers last night, and it looked like they covered multiple seasons. I didn't realize they lost at home in consecutive years (Houston & Oakland). I guess the Oilers game was before the "Renfroe Pittsburgh" game - Fouts threw 5 int's and they only lost by 3...ouch. I also noticed on profootballreference that the year they lost to in the cold @Cincy, they also got hammered by the Bengals at home in the reg. season, so maybe the weather isn't such a great excuse; though to be fair the players didn't seem to really whine about it.
