High School: All-Everything at Jesuit High School, Carmichael, CA

 

College: Broke a ton of school & conference records (Great Western Conference)

 

2002: 6th round draft choice by the New Orleans Saints – 3rd string QB – inactive all season

 

2003: Ditto, after a season in NFL Europe – Frankfurt Galaxy

 

2004: Inactive for first four games – traded to Green Bay for a box of tape – inactive the next 11 games

Activated last game - Takes a knee on the last two plays of the season

 

2005: Chicago Bears practice squad first nine games

Minnesota Vikings signed him off the Bears practice squad – inactive rest of season

 

2006: Reported to Vikings training camp – cut

Signed to NE Patriots practice squad on September 5th – cut October 2nd

Signed to Carolina’s practice squad on December 27th – no action

 

2007: Signed again by the Bears in February – cut before training camp

Detroit Lines signed him July 10th – no action all season

 

2008: San Francisco signs him as a UFA for the minimum ($645,000) in February

Named starting QB on August 22nd
