Stl Bills Posted January 26, 2007 Share Posted January 26, 2007 I just bought my 61" Samsung DLP 2 weeks ago today and its been shutting off due to overheating. When it shuts off the sequence of the blinking lites (per Samsung's website) indicates that I have a fan that is not operating properly. This thing is 2 !@#$ing weeks old! I guy at my work said he bought a Samsung 2 years ago and had the same thing happen...he received a new TV and it also did the same thing and he eventually had to have his Samsung replaced with a Panasonic. I have another friend who has had his Samsung for over 2 years with no problems. I'm going to take it back to Best Buy tom. and get a new one but should I try and get a new brand?
