Ray
If any team is that dumb to ive a number 1 for Willis then let them do it. But the Bills would be lucky to get a third rounder for him. You can get a back that ranks in the top 23 RBs in the league many places. I don't care if Marv re-signs him for 2.5-3M a year but anything more than that is overpaying him. The value for the buck at 5M/yr is just not there. Many other priorities first. Signing Clements, possibly Fletcher (at again 3M/yr), a LB, and signing Evans to a long term deal. makbeer
You guys are complete idiots. How about instead of creating holes in areas we are strong at, we stay strong in those spots and simply look at upgrading elsewhere? If you simply create more holes to plug other ones, you'll still sink. Durrrrr. Willis is a good back. He's a tough back. He's learned to protect the passer. He's improving catching out of the backfield. He doesn't fumble. He -has- shown more breakaway speed this year. Throwing him away to gamble on a OL is a dumb idea. Shows why you're fans, not NFL GMs.
