Was this article something he submitted before the preseason, and it sat on his editor's desk, and then somehow made it to the press today?

"But should Losman have been given the starting job from the get-go?"

Umm.... he wasn't?

"Kelly Holcomb is around to take over if Losman falters this year."

Yeah... if he still is here come the regular season, he might be 3rd string.

"In the middle of last season, Bills rusher Willis McGahee declared himself the "greatest running back in the NFL." This is what any Intro to Pysch student would easily diagnose as a delusion of grandeur. He finished last season 10th in rushing yards, 24th in rushing touchdowns and 38th in receiving yards among running backs in the NFL. Will he live up to his own hype this season? Conventional wisdom says: nuh-uh."

Yeah Willis' numbers weren't good last year, and he was a bonehead for making that remark, but conventional wisdom say (in the form of most fantasy leagues/mock drafts/magazines) that Willis will probably be a top 10 back this year.

Seriously, that is just a bad piece of journalism.

yeah, i was thinking the same thing - an absolutely atrocious article and not from the standpoint of hating someone "anytime they write something bad about my team." It was almost like awoke from a two-year nap and writes his articles from an Artic Circle igloo, not someone who lives within ear shot of the organization.
