Marv said from day one that he holds character in the highest regard when selecting players. It shouldn't surprise us that he would reach to pick those that he sees as high-character guys. I think the trade up into the first was a little much, but in looking how things have transpired, I don't believe that McCargo would've been there at the bills 2nd round pick (that doesn't mean I love the pick..even in the 2nd round, but if the front office loves it...I at least feel a little comforted). Bottom line - I think we attempted to address two needs so far...can't be all that bad. Just think....maybe these picks will work out and we won't have to hear the Shane Conlan story anymore Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
