Steven in MD Posted March 15, 2006 Share Posted March 15, 2006 After watching the Sabres come back and beat the Caps last night at the new phone booth (Verizon Center), 3 things became clear. 1. Buffalo fans can root for a guy named JP (Dumont in this case). 2. Good teams get the timely calls. The Sabres were benefactors of some timely calls by the referees last night, allowing their #2 ranked power play get them back into and eventually win the game. 3. Hockey like football is a team sport. A good coach who can develop a system around his players will be successful. Ruff has done just that. He maximizes the skills he has on the team.
