What does this team need to win and should we do something before the draft...we will get a high pick. What hole do you see us filling with that 1st round pick? macaroni Posted December 12, 2005 Share Posted December 12, 2005 any position along the O-line ...... we may have 5 players to man the positions (even THAT is debatable) but we have no one to build a line around. We need at least one DT, DE, CB, and safety, we could use a good RB (I'm still not sold on Mcgahee), and a QB (at least to develope behind JP), and a big physical WR. We have so many "needs" maybe the best use of that first round pick would be in "trade bait" ........ ofcourse we need a trading partner but we need bodies more than we need a high pick. Lossman may be the answer at QB, but he will never be successful unless he can be protected and given time to read defeneses and make plays.
