Here's how they rank the top 10 defensive line units in college football:

10. NC State

9. Missouri

8. Virginia

7. Texas

6. LSU

5. Miami

4. Wisconsin

3. Oklahoma

2. USC

1. Georgia

Georgia as the top defensive line? Not bad. With David Pollack returning for his senior year (I thought this was actually a good move; he's still a bit small for the NFL, but I think he'll be more than ready by next year's draft) and with Will Thompson coming back from injury, that's a nice set of bookends. Inside, they have Gerald Anderson, who is a tough run stuffer, and Kedric Golston, who is an impressive sophomore, the first true freshman to start at DT in almost a decade. Not bad at all.

I'm keeping an eye out for Oline more than Dline. As of now, with only a 2nd round pick, all the pass rushers will be gone. I like Wilkerson from LSU and Vince Carter of Oklahoma(4.85 40) at center. I'm trying to be realistic as to who else will be available in the 2nd, but so far I think the guard from Virginia, Elton Brown and C.J. Brooks from Maryland are possibilities. Pass rusher will have to come from free agency. I don't care if it's a tackle or end, just someone who gets consistent heat on the QB. As for OT's, hopefully a Mike Pearson type falls to us.

How's it going fellas?

First and foremost, I'm a Bills fan. I've been a Michigan fan and manage to make it to one game a year. Anyhow, having seen the Bills weakness at Lft guard and our question of center heading into the season, I was a huge fan of David Baas especially last year when their was talk he would come out for the 2004 draft. So, I watched with a carefull eye his play. Let me tell you after watching him carefully, he is awsome. He reminds me of Jerry Ostrowski. A player with a mean demeanor. I do wish we could draft him. I've learned from history, to not get to excited over a particular player.

Tom Donahoe usually shows his hand prior to each draft. How is that you ask? He likes to make a move i.e. re-do Henry contract, or get Trey Teague or get name players in free agency that would not make the team, therefore give an appearence that that position is sealed up, when reality is, he has a plan to obtain a certain player and go's out of his way to make to cover his foot prints. So, lets see what he does early in free agency. Ben Wilkerson is the suppose top center, but his injury will cause him to drop right into TD's hands, therefore he will have his center, qb, rb, wr and te of the future..

I hope Wilkerson is healthy and has no issues, but considering the state of our offensive line, particularly the interior of it, I don't want to take any chances. A guy like Jason Brown of North Carolina is a very strong candidtate at center. As for guard, Baas is one of the absolute best, but I just can't see how he'll fall to us late in the 2nd. If he's there, we should take him. The only other guard I'd take over him is Elton Brown, who will surely be gone by our pick, if not by the end of the first round.
