I'd recommend calling DirecTV and explain to them that you're not getting a lot of use out of Superfan. They should give it to you for free (or at the very least, $49). You have a legit complaint. The "shortcuts" they have on Monday is AWESOME. Watch an entire game in 30 minutes. Very nice for watching games from other teams (for example, the team Buffalo plays the next week). There's some other things they show you during the week which also make it worth it, IMHO. Especially since you can get it for free this year, if you ask.
