Sound_n_Fury
The Raiders cut Hawthorne, the DL who was a potential 1st round pick but smoked a little weed before the combine and fell all the way to the 6th round. He's a former Wisconsin Badger and with Krumrie (another former Badger) around to kick him in the a$$, he might be worth a shot as a developmental project on the PS. Anybody seen if he's been signed by another team? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/...yers/60674.html http://www.raiders.com/team/teamRosterDetails.jsp?id=18413

You know, I wouldn't mind taking a flyer and signing him to the active roster in place of Sape. IMO, he's the same type of player Jason Peters was...a little lazy, a little immature but he could develop into a good player with the right direction under Krumrie. I don't remeber reports of Peters being lazy and immature, I think teams just didn't know what to do with him. While he is incredibly quick for a 328lb guy, he probably is still a little to slow to play TE in the NFL. I hope we line him up as an extra TE in goaline situations, not to mention I think he is going to end up developing into one hell of a LT. This kid is going to help us out a lot in the future. frogger
Teyo Johnson is the only cut that interested me from the raiders. Donald Lee from the Dolphins too both very athletic TEs
