Fans of the Buffalo Sabres and other professional hockey teams have little to cheer about these days, but Jimmy's Old Town Tavern along with several sponsors are attempting to change that, at least a little. Jimmy's, located at 697 Spring Street in Herndon, is hosting "Nickel City Sunday" on March 20th, which will feature a game between 12 NHL alumni from the Buffalo Sabres and Jimmy's "All New Hockey Team." The event will take place at the Ashburn Icehouse ice rink at 21595 Smithwich Road and will be open to the public.

Mike Boland and Don Lever are coming instead of Matthew Barnaby and Craig Muni as listed in article.

The event will be followed by a "Meet the Players" event at Jimmy's.

Tickets for the game are available at Jimmy's Old Town Tavern.
