But there was a reason why he wasn't retained, as well as why no other team picked him up for almost the entire season. Cohen had a nice preseason, but he made his mark by jumping snap counts in the preseason, mostly against 2nd, 3rd, 4th units running a simple offense. Those kind of plays would never work consistently in the regular season. When he went one on one against blockers he was nothing special.
