Fezmid Posted September 11, 2012 Share Posted September 11, 2012 Serves: 6 Calories Per Serving: NA Preparation Time: 5-6 hours Difficulty: Easy Submitted by: Golden Wheels Ingredients: 3 slices bacon 1 cup finely chopped sweet onion 1/2 pound ground round 1 15 oz. can lima beans, drained 1 15 oz. can light red kidney beans, drained 1 oz. can pork and beans, undrained 1/2 cup catsup 1/2 cup honey barbeque sauce 1/4. cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon dry mustard Cooking Instructions: Cook bacon until crisp, set aside. (To save time and fat I use the precooked bacon you can microwave.) Cook beef and onion in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until beef is browned, stirring to crumble beef. Place bacon, beef mixture, and remaining ingredients in a 3-1/2 quart crockpot and stir well. Cover with lid and cook on high setting for 1 hour. Reduce to low heat setting and cook for another 3-4 hours. Serving Suggestions: Good with corn bread or corn chips.
