With the new CBA (if it ever gets done) and the apparent expansion of both the number of players on a team and the number of weeks in a season, has anyone heard of any changes that would occur with the draft? Will there be more rounds in the draft to fill the expanded rosters? Or will the draft just stay the same as it has been the past few years? NaPolian8693 Posted December 1, 2010 Share Posted December 1, 2010 I can't say for sure but in the random highlights I've seen from the various proposals I don't really recall seeing anything about changing the structure of the draft. I think things would probably still be fine with 7 rounds and then rookie free agents even with an increased roster size.
