    Norman’s always hated the Bills.

Yeah, ever since Bruce took his head off.

I was watching part of his show today and he was whining about all the injuries the Jests had last year. He totally ripped the Bills against the Chiefs last season, but never mentioned that half the starters on defense was hurt.

He can really be an idiot.

  2. I'm a season ticket holder and we had tickets for this game. Unfortunately, there was an ice storm that morning (Elmira/Corning area) and it took an hour to drive 10 miles. We gave up and went home. If we had driven a other 5 miles, we found out later that it turned into just rain.

At least we could see it on tv.

I was excited when we acquired Vince.  He had led the Rams to the playoffs multiple times - even as far as the Super Bowl.  He threw for 500+ yards in a game once.  I thought we had found a credible QB to replace Fergy.

Ferragamo was the first QB I saw wearing plays on his wrist.  Back in those days, it was a turn-off.  I figured he was either too lazy or dumb to learn the playbook.  Nonetheless, he threw for 377 yards in his first game as a Bill!  We were off and running!

It was the only good game he ever had as a Bill.  That year, Ferragamo and Bruce Mathison combined for 9 TD passes versus 31 interceptions.   We scored a mere 200 points all season long - far and away, the most anemic offense in the league.  Both of these QBs richly deserve to be in this conversation.

I remember when he got tackled and messed up his shoulder. He was never the same. He couldn't throw a 10 yard out without lofting it. Too sad.

  4. I've had season tickets for 39 years, so looking back was often sooo depressing. 18 of those years were below .500 and 3 8-8 years. So my personal regular season record is 183-120, and that doesn't include the covid year. Playoffs are 14-3.

Those years between 2000 and 2018, their overall reg. season record was above .500 only 3 years. Ugh!

The biggest problem with the last game is the snow fell the day and night before the game. Not only did that hinder people being able to get there to help clear it, but, as you've probably seen, the way they clear the seats is with chutes that run the snow down to the field and then truck it out. At some point well before game time you have to stop doing that, remove the tarp and get the field ready.

This latest snow should be done by tonight or tomorrow at the latest. That's a lot more time ahead to be able to clear the seats. Although as mentioned above, the snow from before is going to be packed super hard and will probably create issues. Field wise it should be fine with sun, temp in the 20s and minimal wind.

I don't think we will have any sun at 6:30pm, but if we wait a few months, we may get lucky

Certainly not game ball worthy but I thought it was Von’s best game this year (I know the bar is very low)

Yeah, he ran into the qb without making the tackle. Way to go!

Same here. Not 15 mins before kickoff the stadium looked half empty and half full of snow. Then, like you said, at kickoff, snow was gone and stands looked full….I thought maybe CBS was fooling us with CG. LOL

Anybody who was there care to explain where all the snow went?

All of the snow got pushed around. They only removed half of the snow in the stands. Half of the seats were never touched.

I was talking to the person next to me, and they said a friend called the Bills office to see if they needed help. They said they had enough people. Obviously, they haven't a clue about snow removal.

  8. I was at the stadium so you would not see this on tv, but on one play, he was playing the outside receiver with another in the slot. At the snap, he decided to run straight past the receiver, straight up field. He was covering air, while the receiver made the catch.  I have no clue of what he was thinking.
