Panthers free agent guard/center Geoff Hangartner is scheduled to visit Buffalo on Friday.
Hangertner has a good market as both a center and guard but Panthers offensive tackle Jordan Gross has been pushing to keep his buddy in Carolina.
But Buffalo, which cut guard Derrick Dockery on Thursday, will get first crack.

He's their UFA, so I iamgine they've been negotiating all month.
As the clock struck midnight, CB DeAngelo Hall struck it rich.
Hall reached an agreement with the Redskins on a six-year, $54 million deal that includes $22.5 million guaranteed and $30 million in the first three seasons.
Agents Alvin Keels and Joel Segal spent recent weeks negotiating with the Redskins and put the finishing touches on the deal as free agency kicked off.

damn.. that didn't take long.. now the bills turn.

Good stuff!!!

got to love Tim!! Thanks!!!
That's a good keep for the bills.

anyone know the other teams cap space? who has the most space?
-
The $5.4 million is money already paid to Dockery when he got a $8.1 million signing bonus in 2007. That's the dead cap. His cap number was $5.85 million. Subtract the $5.4 million and you get his cap savings of $450,000
Bills save $4.5 million in "cash to cap" in 2009 and that, along with money to be paid to Dockery in future years, is what helps overall
According to your numbers we are ..
Under the cap: $20,941,267
Cash To Cap: $39,048,327

He is due 5.85mill but the bills still have to pay him 5.4mill? So we are only saving 400K this season off of the cap? what about the rest of the years?
How does this move help us sign someone else if we will have dead money on the cap that we can't even use right now. Im i seeing this the wrong way or how does this work?
also... how much money did they have and will they have to spend?
-
Does anyone know how much Cap space the Bills have to spend this offseason?
-
Makes no sense. He is bitching about making more money but he doesn't show up so now he is losing money. How pathetic this guy is.
Some Ravens' updates. Brown to sign with Rams, Scott with NY.
