  1. I think it's great that people are complaining that the Bills are spending too much!!!! What a concept!!!

This. I have never seen an off season like this...EVER.

This is a new team. We can worry about management blowing cash??

If this is why they raised ticket prices can I pay extra?

We are all going to get more product on the field for our ticket price than ever before...

  2. Pegula liquidates a quick $1.75 mil to buy the Bills... Prior to the sale he was known as one of the richest owners in the NFL. A friend of mine in the gas/oil industry says Pegula has another couple Billion untapped in shell corps that own fracking/property rights... Can anyone substantiate?

I have no idea but it would not surprise me. Unlike your typical silver spoonfed 1%er, El Pegula is a geologist. He started as poor as the rest of us shrewdly used his knowledge of the land to identify profitable deposits and make business deals.

Wouldn't it be funny if there was a huge deposit underneath The Ralph, and his real end game is to move the Bills so he can get at the oil and gas?

  3.

Yes Marrone is such a great judge of offensive line talent that Craig Urbik road the bench for several games when he was EASILY our best offensive guard

This is what gives me hope for Kujo.......Marrone even though he considers himself a offensive line coach does know how to coach offensive line and cant judge talent......

Exactly right John from Hemet...Marrone SUCKED as an Oline player...his resume on wiki doesn't lie...

    Career history

    As player:

    Miami Dolphins (1987)

    New Orleans Saints (1989)

    London Monarchs (1991–1992)

So he washed out of the NFL, bounced to the Euro-league and became a coach.

So glad we are done with this bozo!

  4. I am all for this. This is the classic "give a player a last chance" scenario...and one that is better than any guard currently on the roster. Could the Bills use some goons on Oline? YES Does he fit the bill? (npi) YES

And Consider This Locker Room Culture: The Oline is the Dline's beeatch...and you have the current state of the Bills.

Richie is not the kind of guy that is going to let the all-pro Dline beat up on the Oline in practice...he does not care who is lining up against him...he is going to fight and not waver. Thus this sorry ass Oline just got better.

The FACT is Ritchie is a Role Model if you want bullies, and just what our pansies on Oline need.

And BTW - He never had any issues here...so do your homework before posting kids.

    'nuff said.

  5. One good thing is that Ryan knows what the Bills offensive weaknesses are as well as anyone.

This. Rex is a good hire because he knows the AFC East (including the Bills) better than any other coaching option out there.

Even with our defense, we were his 3rd choice for a reason...but daddy oilbucks soothed all that.

And on top of that...we get rid of a red-shirt Junior Varsity OC. Switching to a varsity OC will be worth at least a field goal to 5 points per game...regardless who's at QB.

And oh yeah...get the best 2 guards FA can offer...they play a LOT more downs than any D-Lineman does and we will maul our way to victory running the ball at will.

  6. Shoot! My apologies...I meant to put a post on the wall when the season started...but ever since I became a parent time doesn't fly...it evaporates!

Well...yes next time come on by.

    Damn! Really?

South Lake Union? I was visiting my sister who lives on Lake Union. I went to 95 Dive at the suggestion of my niece and her boyfriend.

    Next time for sure.

  7. The Bills Backers of Seattle have met at Jillian's for at least 10 years now. Any rumor of our demise is greatly exaggerated.

I will take responsibility for not keeping up an email list, or doing anything else fun on the side, but we are always there for games, and there are always 1-2 dozen people at minimum.

So come on down to South Lake Union Jillians. Plenty of parking around the area, children are allowed (and they have an arcade downstairs). See you Sunday morning.

    GO BILLS!!!

  8. Folks,

You should always create a system restore point before downloading and installing a strange program from the net.

I think the veedo or whatever this is has spyware in it because it wanted to change my firewall settings.

I have done a sys restore, and am updating my spybot search and destroy now for a fresh scan.

scrub ball is not worth this sort of risk.

  9. "Jauron & Fewell" ... bringing their smooth, sleep-inducing act to the Niagara Casino next week, opening for Peaches & Herb.

Expect a medley of smooth jazz favorites: "Check it Down", "Keepin' it Close", and "Gimme sum Moor-man"

    THAT's FUNNY!

(thanks I needed that with the day I'm having)

  10. Interesting tidbit in the BNews comment section on the statistics:

Let me get this straight. Out of 70,000 plus people at each Bills game, the average number facing charges is 30-35. My calculator says that's a percentage of .0005. There are 212 state legislators and at least a dozen are facing criminal or civil charges. That's a full 6 percent. Attending a Bills game appears safer than dealing with our state legislators. It doesn't appear that the number of arrests at Bills games is newsworthy.

The .0005% is pretty interesting considering it is probably around the same percentage of people who get caught for speeding on the interstates compared to the number of drivers. It is ridiculous that this is even that newsworthy unless there is an underlying reason why the BNews feels it has to make room for this in the paper(crap sells).

Also, by rough count, not including the clubs and suites, there are 130 sections in the stadium, which means that 1 person in every 4 sections gets arrested. That's a pretty low number given the nature of the entire event.

YOU ARE CORRECT SIR! Excellent post...whoever compared Bills Fans to lowlifes deserves a virtual flogging.

    ;)

(I'd tip my hot to you but there's no such emoticon here)

  11. I don't mind as long as they pass it around. Seriously, players are getting suspended for thing that are legal outside of the NFL, weed is illegal in every state. Do you mind if they shoot up heroine before a game, or rape a grade schooler after practice? They are people just like you and I, same laws pertain to them.

That's a BS statement comparing doing a drug to rape and you are out of line.

Weed is NOT illegal in every state...go to Cali and get prescription dummbass.

Your avatar is one of the best...but please do a little research before you post next time.

  12. Yeah those idiots Jack Kemp and Jim Kelly did nothing to promote, clean up and help the WNY region. :D

You mean before they were household names and everyone loved them on the field?

Just making sure we are comparing apples to apples here.

Thanks for the responses y'all...I'm out for the night to play some percussion.

  13. JP planted a few trees and picked up garbage one day for the media and he's a great guy?? Wouldn't it have been better for him and his community if he spent some time reviewing game film in the off season and prior to games? When he got benched last year, wouldn't he have been a better guy if he at least gave the appearance of faked interest as to what was going on in the game instead of showing the TV audience his "I can't believe I'm not playing" mope while isolating himself at the end of the bench wearing his goofy beard and full-length cover-up?

And stop with the "he had all the tools" stuff. He was a good athlete, ok. But a great athlete doesn't get chased down by 300 lb linemen and he can make a fast LB miss him at least a few times. He was supposed to be this great "scrambler" coming out of Tulane. He was just too slow-footed. Flutie was a better athlete than JP.

As for the "long bombs" to Evans, there were so few of those over his career that it cannot sustain the myth that he would be a better "fit" in a big passing offense. Sasquatch has been sited in Buffalo more times than JP ever hooked up with Evans for a long TD.

Ok...that's a good point...once he knew he was done he checked out...but I don't equate that with him not being a great guy...that's just burn out from seeing the same incompetent coaching.

I also didn't say he was a great guy...but he's a better guy than a lot of NFL players because actually took initiative, and this whole country would be better off if sports stars actually made an effort to care.

  14. I don't know who you're talking to, but your points are invalid. We're discussing Losman as a Football player, not whether we like him as a person or not. If you're talking about my post, it was in regards to the assumption that the Bills would bring him back if TE got hurt, so if you agree with that idea, then you, too, can join the Losman fan club....

For the record, I own his jersey and hoped just as much as everyone else that he'd be our guy. It didn't work out, not even a little bit. We can play the blame game all day long, but the bottom line is that the team has sinced moved on. If you can't, then perhaps you can follow him to his next team and route for him there. Maybe your ideas of him being SO smart that he'll win a Superbowl elsewhere will come true, then you can come back here and tell the rest of us how stupid we were. I'll be waiting, but you can rest assured I won't be holding my breath .... :D

OK...sorry about that...I do apolagize. It was not clear to me it was a football only...I'm sick of seeing JP threads and decided to attack.

(This is why I rarely post even though I've been reading the wall for the last 14 years.)

For the record, I felt bad coaching and bad O-Line ruined his chance to develop into a good QB.

IMHO - He would have been a good NFL QB under tutelage of a superior coach like Belicheat.

Also - I did imply (and meant) the only way he's going to a superbowl is playing in a rock band.

He's not going to do it on any NFL team, ever.

    Peace,

Your beer judgment challenged club pres.
