  1. that the Cowboys "Hand Picked" the Ravens as the team they wanted to close out Texas Stadium, as they apparently assumed that would be an easy win. I was just wondering why the Cowboys were allowed to choose who they wanted to play and the Bills say that they did not have any say on who they would play in Toronto???

My guess is the Cowboys choose the Ravens becuase (I think), the Ravens are the only team in the NFL that had never played at Texas Stadium. Why the NFL gave them the choice at all....that I cannot explain

  2. Has anyone here EVER seen a center snap a ball up his own ass? CLASSIC!! Purely Bills football the last two months or so. This play is unquestionably the item (still photo shot) they should build their season ticket campaign around. Billboards throughout Western New York with "the Duke" inserting "The Duke" where it really doesn't belong!!

LOL...exactly. I'm sorry but I think if I was bent over, I would certainly know if someone had two hands up my a$$. How do you not know if the QB is directly behind you or not?? Only Buffalo could pull that crap.

  3. yeah Pete, all is well. This team is a joke and has been for 10 years. If someone paying good money to sit and watch yesterday's shoddy performance want to let the players know then good for them. Throwing things? Nope, but you want to yell you go ahead. God knows no one else has gotten into the face of anyone on that team in some time. Coach is soft. Team is soft.

I feel like posting something but I do not know what to say. This is what I think I know

I know that I would never throw anything at a player

I know I feel like throwing something at our so-called head coach

I know that I don't give a rat's a$$ if Jason Peters has his feelings hurts

I know that we have enough talent on this team to at least beat the Browns and San Fran at home

I know we lost to the Browns and San Fran at home

I know we have the worse in-game HC of all time

I know our HC makes decisions during the game that cost us the games

I know Lynch had a career day yesterday

I know our HC has no clue when and how to use Lynch

I know that our HC (based on his own words) "WISHED" that Lynch got more than 16 carries vs. San Fran

I know that the any HC from Pee Wee and above could have made sure that Lynch got more than 16 carries

I know Lynch did not get more than 16 carries yesterday

I know I have been a season ticket holder for 10+ years

I know that the licence on my season tickets have one year remaining

I know that I am very tired of flying 3000 miles to watch this product lose the way they do. year after year after year

I know that if DICK continues to be our head coach, then my reign as a ticket season holder is about to come to an end

I know I love my Bills, always have, always will. Will cheer for them wheter I am at the game or not

I know I will not continue to support a FO that hires one loser coach after another

    I know we need a change....RIGHT NOW

I Know I have never met Cablelady!!!

I know I should stop typing now

  4. Perfect football weather.

!. I heard it snowed there this week, is there still snow on the ground?

    2. Once again I will be flying in from LA to attend the game. I will be at big tailgate party early, but if you are partying in Lot 1 I will make my way over there to meet you.....FINALLY!!! You going to the game??

  5. Minutes after finding out he made the 53 man roster, Bell hired Eugene Parker and left Orchard Park. Parker did not return calls, and the only word from Bell came from a text message he sent Xavier Omon stating he already misses the team and really loves football. Omon guarantees Bell will stay in shape while he's gone.

    LOL...that is great!!!

  6. For the first time we're not making the long drive back to NYC after the game, so maybe somewhere with some good bars

There is a whole bunch of bars downtown. Hampton Inn, Hyatt or Adams Mark. Stay at one of those places and you will be close to a lot of bars!!

  7. 5/6 for 48 yards and a TD.

That is good but he was complaining about his arm hurting during camp after a lot of throws. I'm curious to see if in a real game he's as good at the end as he is at the beginning.

If I'm playing the Jets, I bring the heat and make Brett make a fast decision with the ball. This is a brand new offense for him, it is going to take awhile for him to know where to go with the ball in a split second.

  8. Once again -- the Bills haven't said they won't renegotiate Peters' contract. They have said they need Peters to do his part by coming to camp and showing good faith. Unfortunately Peters' agent's M.O. is clearly to take what I believe is the "lazy" route by holding his players out.

Panicking and calling for the Bills to immediately succumb to Peters' demands is not the answer. If the Bills were to take that route, they would set a horrible precedent and make Russ Brandon's job a nightmare.

This issue will resolve itself before the end of camp, probably after Evans is extended.

Thank you....I concur 100% I am all in favor of re-doing his contract, BUT he must get his butt into camp first.

  9. Yes, but Peter, isn't it the point that those teams you list ahead of the Bills have no need for a new starting QB? Favre would have no interest in going to any of those teams, because he wouldn't be the starter. But at least in Buffalo, he would have that chance, and in doing so perhaps push them a few ranks higher.

Not that I want Favre here, but it just seems like another of King's flimsy arguments.

This is a very good point, How can Brett go to a 2008 Super Bowl Contender when most if not all contenders do not need a QB. If they needed one they would not be clear contenders for the Super Bowl. Brett is going to have to go to a team that is on the edge. A team that looks like they may be a playoff team that he can make better. And I believe that team will have to be in the AFC, becuase the Packers are not going to make any NFC team better just to have that move bite them in the butt come playoff time.

  10. Since we didn't get the big group purchase, that means that no Tailgate fee of $6/person was collected. Now if you are planning on coming to the Tailgate at Hammers Lot, opening weekend, are you willing to pony up money voluntarily for any/all of the above usual things we do with the Tailgate Fee?

    I will be there....with cash!!!

  11. I guess that I would have to say that a box of collectibles from Super Bowl XXV. In it is a hardcover Silver Anniversity of All-Time Super Bowl Team, it is a collection of football cards of past players and the 1990 AFC and NFC Champions. I also have an unopen packet of NFL Pro Set football cards of both the 1990 AFC and NFC Champions (Bills and Giants), a thick, extensive football program from Super Bowl XXV, a airbrushed Super Bowl XXV tee shirt, three plastic beer cups from that Super Bowl and a flat out ugly zuba Bills' hat. I even have a torn ticket stub from the Super Bowl XXV game.

Ah, the memories! I'm surprised how good the shape is of these articles after all these years. I'm actually thinking of putting them on eBay to see if they are really valuable or if I'm just being overly sentimental.

I have a very special Bills belt buckle. On the back it says that "This exlclusive limited edition buckle has been issued to commemorate the Buffalo Bills football team. This buckle is dedicated to the loyal Buffalo Bills Fans."

There were 10,000 of these buckles made, I have #8293. BUT what makes it really special is that it use to belong to Elijah Pitts. It was given to me by his window.

  12. Another sign that the 2008 Buffalo Bills season is approaching, I opened up my mailbox today and found a Priority Mail package from the Buffalo Bills. My Season Tickets are here already! They look pretty sharp this year! They aren't in the usual booklet that we have been getting. It's kinda like a pamphlet, but it's still cool. Each ticket has a player at the top. The following players are on the tickets this year.... Bruce Smith, Aaron Schobel, Jason Peters, Marshawn Lynch, Lee Evans, Trent Edwards, Donte Whitner, Chris Kelsay.

Got mine today...can't wait for the opener!!!

  13.

There is a bus that leaves from downtown Buffalo that goes right ot the games on Sunday. It has been in operation for at least the last 12 years. Does this mean that is going to be stopped as well?? I have taken this bus before and it is always full of bills fans. The bus is part of the local bus system in Buffalo, can't remember the exact name of the local public transportation system there.
