So after the opening touchback, the receiving team snaps the ball on first down and then stands there for fifteen minutes while the defense stands there staring at them. The quarter expires on a kneel down. The teams switch ends of the field and do it again until halftime? Second half....rinse and repeat. The game will be over in a little over an hour. The halftime  studio analysis will be priceless. Only to be topped by the Sideline Reporter's in depth coaches comments on second half 'adjustments'.

    Hilarious!

    Or, do the exact opposite.

The teams take turns letting each other score 75+ yard touchdowns and pad the hell out of their stats.

  2. I hate Belichick, but the guy gets the most out of every defender. Gilmore went from an average player here, to All-Pro in New England. We'll see how he fares if they decide to start calling him for holding again now that he's out of NE.

It means what I said. TMZ are paparazzi dirt bags. Yeah, the "story" is real, but why even report something so insignificant. Diggs friend borrowed his car and got a flat tire? Lol This does nothing, but try to throw dirt on Diggs' name and raising a non-issue. Journalism at its best. How would you like your personal life broadcasted to the world?

I wouldn't want my personal life broadcast to the world. I also wouldn't leave 100k car abandoned next to railroad tracks, but I guess that makes me the weirdo.

Were any laws broken?  Do you want to launch a full-scale investigation to find something?

A few months back in my town, an off duty police officer drove his car through a fence at a local elementary school. He left the car and fled the scene. He turned himself in the next morning. Of course by then he had sobered up, so he could not be charged with anything more than fleeing the scene of an MVA.

Were laws broken? Likely. Fortunately, nobody was hurt.

Again, we have no idea if Diggs was involved, but this was likely a very lucky outcome.

The story is that a friend drove the car, had a flat and instead of waiting for the guy to come decided to leave the car there. The car got repaired proving it had some sort of issue. Anything else is just baseless speculation.

I don't deny this, but none of it adds up. Sorry if that's inconvenient.

Sounds like a good friend, though. Leaving a 100k+ car sitting feet from train tracks and abandoning it. I'm sure it was totally innocent.

I don’t know about that.  Maybe they just went with “flat tire” instead of “hammered at the strip club”.  Always possible that there is more to the story too.  But that’s really not the general public’s business.  Nor is it if a bunch of guys went to a club, drank and then were responsible getting home.  Which brings us back to “flat tire”.  Seems like a reasonable thing to say for privacy reasons.  And now you made me google maps it.  Unsurprisingly there are several gentlemen’s clubs near the airport where the train tracks pass under the highway.  I’d bet that someone could reasonably park where his vehicle was found, especially if it was a busy night.  Go figure.  And again, nothing nefarious seems to have taken place so why would anyone worry about it?

Please don't hurt yourself bending over backwards to create a new story for them. Nobody would judge them poorly if he simply said, we went out, we had too much to drink, so we got a ride home. In fact, they would likely be praised for being so responsible.

    This is not their story.

    What is the story?

If he was out drunk and chose to Uber home, that would be fine, but that's not the story his team had laid out. He said a friend was driving, got a flat, called a tow truck and left. The police then had it towed after it was found abandoned.

So either Diggs and his buddies or just his buddies were out at the strip clubs near the airport, got hammered and Ubered home?  That’s my takeaway here.

If that was what happened, that would be the story. But it's not the story.

Honestly, looking at the scenario, I don’t think I would’ve sat there waiting for a tow truck either. That has victim written all over it.

The tow truck came, fixed the flat, and left it?

Sorry, but that make no sense.

How did they get paid, etc?

Diggs says he wasn't in FL at the time and that he let a friend use it. The only story here is that the friend has likely f***** himself out of any future usage of Diggs' fleet.

Far be it from me to call Diggs a liar. I certainly hope nothing nefarious occurred. But the car was found on Sunday morning and as recently as 3 days ago Diggs has Instagram posts showing him somewhere with palm trees.

Maybe he went down after it happened, who knows?
