Any team losing to anyone this year is realistic if you've been watching the NFL in 2023
The issue is, if Denver does win all their games, you have to flip two games for any other team.

Here’s a more sober look at us at 10-7:
Go to the ESPN playoff machine.
Set the criteria to winning %, (resolve ties however you’d like). This gives the Bills a 10-7 record with our loss being to Miami.
Try to find a realistic game to flip, (other than ours), that gets us in. Your only chance is Denver losing to one of the weaklings they play.

OMG, that Bear had it.

Shouldn't have to be worrying about needing help to begin with. It seems like it takes me back to like 2010 when we'd sit around and wait and wish that this team would lose or that team would lose we might make the playoffs. No, I don't look to other teams losing to determine Buffalo's destiny. Even if they went out they may not make it but that's not because they had to depend on other teams losing it's because they couldn't beat teams that they should have earlier in the season.
Well, we need help right now, so you’re basically asking people not to care about the rest of the season.- 1

If i was betting, id take Denver +5. Detroit has already beaten 3 of the 4 AFC West teams. A four game sweep over the division is hard and doesn’t happen all that often. Hope that Detroit gets it though.
That’s the gambler’s fallacy. -
Still time for a miracle tie!

One of the more cowardly punts ever. Steelers fans are about done with Tomlin.
How can you do that with your job on the line?

Do NFL coaches want to be fired? Like, do they get off on it?

I think all 3 of those teams are more than capable of doing to the Dolphins O to what Bills did earlier in the season.
Miami losing last night was massive in terms of giving the Bills a little leeway in their game this week. The last game of the season really could be for the division.
What's the best outcome of the Colts/Steelers you think?
No change in overall playoff chance. Slightly better chance for division title with Colts win.

And the exact sentiment of this board if Josh throws a pick. “We were playing so well, why not give yourself a chance in overtime, why put Josh in a bad situation, blah blah blah”Nah…Losing happens. But this coach almost never makes the right win% call. That is especially true when he doesn’t have a timeout to think about it.

Until Allen forces a pick and we all scream for not playing for overtime when “we dominated the entire game”That’s exactly the loser mentality our coach has.

McD says hindsight is 20/20 about keeping one of the wasted timeouts.
Hindsight??!

Love McD’s new slogan of “Complimentary Football” and strategy of throwing Bass under the bus..

McDermott is, like most coaches, a politician. He sounds great and acts the part…Until you get to the stuff that actually counts. He lacks a basic understanding of what actually matters in football games. It’d be embarrassing in most other professions.

Not that I care about this game that much but wtf does a PI look like if that’s not it?
Let’s not forget the pretty flagrant PI that wasn’t call against LV, earlier.
still, these refs look like they’re ready for the off-season.

If the Chiefs lose, yes, absolutely.
If the Chiefs win.. I'd say it's a bigger (football) sacrifice for the Bills. Bengals go from 2 to 3 with no ability to beat us at home and flip it. But the Bills are giving up a chance at the 1, which is a much bigger deal.
I tend to agree. I was combining the two, and seeing Cincy screwed significantly, either way. If the Chefs lose, the Bills actually benefit from the no contest. -

Maybe we should label the threads so it’s clear which are about NFL logistics and which are about the person.Wait…
