I think its safe to say, Rookie QB's, an OC like Fairchild and the lack of a 2 WR has hampered Lee Evans production.
Those excuses don't cut it. Elite receivers shine regardless.
Andre Johnson shines with a bad situation and no #2 receiver(hell, he had better stats then Evans in only 9 games last year)
and
Roy Williams the same,
Torry Holt the same,
Steve Smith the same,
Bernard Berian the same.
A great player is a great player. I understand that a lack of QB, #2 WR and crappy OC have something to do with it but at this level you either put up or shut up, these guys put up.
I agree Lee is great but he needs to prove it on a consistant level. Period. He's a professional, I'm sure he doesn't make the same excuses for himself as we do for him.

I don't know about that. I think until Lee puts up numbers as cosistantly as Johnson that Johnson is the better of the two.

That was from '06 which was his worst season since '02. Lee has yet to put up numbers like that.

Unless George Selvie has a Tommy Blake meltdown, he is destined to be a top 5 pick, IMO!!
Side Note: I hope and pray the Bills leave Kentwan Balmer alone, Rubin and Bryant are my personal favorites at DT!
I agree, but thats only if he adds weight. At 240 using a top 5 pick is a risk for DE. Towards to lower part of the draft though a 240 DE is worth it(see Dwight Freeney).

I wouldn't mind us bringing him in. Tolbert did wonders with Boldin who was a QB in HS and some of his college years at FSU. Not that Jones is the athlete that Boldin is but it might be worth a shot.

If we don't get Harvey or some other help at DE this year then I would LOVE to see us grab George Selvie next year, especially if he puts on a few pounds. That kid is a monster.

I did, you caught me but only because I new it was in some freakin movie I couldn't remember, still couldn't find it though.

Now that I'm looking, here are receivers in SIMILAR or WORSE situations then Evans that had a better years.
