Elbo Room? Really? What a dump, figured Blondies next door would be better. First time in 20+ years I am not going, had tickets and everything.

Don't shoot the messenger lol but it was a good time last year just because of the amount of awesome Bills fans. And it's across the street from the beach. All good things!

The kid has some serious one cut and go potential.  He just turns it on.  Tight hipped and not much east west in his game.  Kinda reminds me of a not so good mini Herschel Walker.  Probably just a practice squad guy for now. But I like his fit in this offense

Tight center of gravity and always keeping those heels up on contact too.

It is tough with Harry because he has one full healthy season (2018) we he showed a few flashes, a great start before injury (2019), and a bad season last year. Personally I think he is more of a depth player and fans like he because he's a fun good dude which causes a portion of the fanbase to inflate his true value. I would take a hard look at Jurrel Casey or Kwan Short if I were the Bills in place of Phillips. It is year four and besides injury issues he just hasn't shown enough to keep being worth the time.

Agreed. You're not valuable at all if you can't play on Sunday.

  4. Something like this is usually how normal people treat each other. "Hey I know it is frustrating, but we can't really avoid the paywall.Maybe there is a solution to clearly marking paid content versus free content."

I find it incredibly annoying not knowing which will be free or not. They all just link to Buffalo News under the article and some are free and some are not.

  5. You mean asking other Bills fans to steal content for you?

Listen, I sometimes get annoyed by paywalls too, but don't come on to a popular forum that links that content and expect not to get blasted when asking for pirated material.

Was a two prong-question. And you can make a point without being an a@@hat to someone.

  6. Save your money, come here and read the conversations, they're as informed and I would argue more valuable. You get more in a multipage thread than in a 6 column inch article.

At least someone has something constructive to say. I appreciate it. It is like walking into a room full of d*ckheads around here to see if you can get the same stuff as about 10 days ago - or at least cut through the clutter of paid article after paid article.

Hey, did you know that the Buffalo News has a paywall for some of their articles? Why doesn't someone on this board start a thread about it since we've never talked about it before?

    case and point.

  7. I've probably started 5 topics on this board and ran a search which was ridiculous to get any real info on when typing "buffalo news" or "pay" as the search. But thanks for being a smart-a@@ and reminding me why it's a terrible idea to ask other Bills fans for previously free Bills information. If you feel like filling me in on what they said I'd appreciate that more then the snide remarks.

  8. Is there a way to stop collating the articles we have to pay to read? Basically, 70% of all articles on here are now pay-to-read articles. I just find it annoying. I am used to logging in and reading great Bills news. Or conversely can someone who has access post the full articles so we can get around these jokers?

  9. I cut and pasted from the article, his choice of words. My point was that the the writer of the linked article has an agenda and liberal bias, and I agree with you that the tweets are funny even though they make me want to punch him in the face.

Haha yes - I was saying the article's author was using incorrect wording...I think....unless someone can verify verifiably :-P

  10. I hate the Patriots (Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics) as much as anyone (I'm a NY guy living in Boston) but at least he a genuine sports fan unlike other pols like Hillary ("Cubs fan" her whole life, until she moved to NY then she was a Yankee fan) Obama who claimed to be a White Sox fan his whole life but couldn't name one player when asked who his favorite White Sox player has been. I hate the Cowboys but I admire that Chris Christie has the courage to say he's a Cowboys fan living in NJ. Finally this article is more liberal bs news when this he says that Spicers comment is "verifiably false". Anyone want to wager me he never made the same claim about statements made by Clinton or Obama?

The "verifiably (I dont think verifiably is a verifiable word) false" part of the article was about inauguration crowd size - not his fan sports team choice. Unless I am mistaking your meaning? Either way the tweets are pretty funny as far as the OP intention goes - I am all for hating on Boston fans a bit - since they have it so good right now.

  11. To be honest, I was a wrestler through high school and college. These rugby tackles, especially the hot tackles are double legs and single legs. I used the same principles as a walk-on OLB in a semi-pro league. I've always had a "healthy" fear of breaking my neck, and we taught single leg and double leg moves specifically to prevent neck injury, so when I played football, I tackled like I wrestled. Squared up its a little tougher but you can still hit at a high speed and squirt your body under most of the force, naturally falling of shoulders, to hip, to legs (where you're going to trip them up the best anyway).
