While it has little impact on me since I live in Memphis, things like this make me happy that after 5 years as a DirecTv subscriber I sent them packing a week ago and had cable installed yesterday. I'll subscribe to Center Ice as soon as the free preview ends.

I hope someone else added Mike Stratton to this debate before I did. He was top notch for an unbelievable defense in a high scorring, gun slinging AFL.

ExNorthBuffaloLad - Love the Bisons bottlecap logo - it brings back alot of fond memories!

It'll be the first time since 9th Dec 1973 we'll have worn that blue jersey w/ that helmet
We won that day, beating New England 37-13 at RICH ...
The following week we closed the season beating the NY Jets 34-14 at Shea Stadium, but wore white jerseys with blue pants .. same helmet as we'll have on today
and ...
Last time we wore them for a home opener was 1973, against NY Jets, we won 9-7 on 30th Sep 1973

I know several people who have been in the Peace Corps. Opinions range from hate to love & devotion. You might do some research on the internet - many have "alumni" groups who call themselves Returned Peace Corps Volunteers. Look for articles on or by "RPCV" Good luck - I wish I did it after college.

I could be wrong but my recollection is that when Burris got to the Colts he was unhappy and essentially admitted that he made a mistake when he left the Bills for "merely" money reasons.

Without being objective and looking at actual statistics I'll always think of Dan Darraugh as the worst qb in Bills history.

I saw it years ago onstage at Niagara on the Lake. As much as I love theater, I simply didn't understand the Chronicles of Narnia. I guess I'm a little too simple for CS Lewis!

It does for me - I remember him as the Braves best player the first year or two of the franchise. As a 9 year old I thought he also owned the bakey on Main I'd pass with Dad on our way to the Aud!

I'm listening to the game on the 'net. At least its playoff hockey. Big game - the Amerks need to regain home ice.

Another Camp Turner grad here. I went for 2 or 3 consecutive years in the 69-72 time period. I loved it. If I recall correctly for the youngest it was one week and you had a two week option as you got older. A few years ago I found a Camp Turner coffee mug in the attic as we were moving. Still have it at the office.

I'll be fishing the White river in Ark, drinking beer, and looking forward to the recap on ESPNews!

48% (yankee) - barely holding on to yankee. I guess that's what 22 years trying cases in Memphis does to me!

must adds are anything by Jimmy Cliff and anything by Byron Lee & the Dragonairres.

Bills 28 Fish 3!
Little did I know that I'd go from an 8 yo to a college student before we beat the Fish again

I am ashamed to say that I once sat in Rich Stadium chanting...
Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...Marangi...
Not only do I remember doing it - I remember doing it late in the game, freezing my tail off! The sensible fans were all long on the way home!

If they were truly sports journalists, the name of their alma mater shouldn't matter!
As someone who moved out of WNY in 1983 I am still caught off guard when I hear "Buffalo basketball" mentioned nationally. I remember UB as a Div. III program. If they really aren't being covered the News should be blasted - the "Little Three" unfortunately is a thing of the past.

You forgot to include Tony Eason and Art Schlichter as notables for the 1983 draft
