  1. I have always been a Sabres fan, with the advent of NHL.com radio - I have been able to feed the addiction - I live in DC now and I chose to get Sunday ticket instead of NHL Center Ice - also, I can't committ to watching all the hockey games (which is why it is just easier to be a Bills fan) but it is cool to have the game on the internet radio when I am doing stuff around the house. If I paid for center ice, then I'd feel like I needed to get my money's worth.

It is awesome to listen to Rick & Jim 400 miles away from home!

  2. Wouldn't 8-8, considering the schedule, bring about false hope? If they beat the Lions , the record for the opponents they beat would be 4-11. The Teams that they lost to are 11-4.

We've all seen it before. A team goes 8-8 on a soft schedule then all offseason people are posting about the playoffs. Then they play a tough shedule? Hello 5-11.

But hey. If it helps some to get through the season. Whatever. The Bills need to beat a good team. It would be even better if they did so on the road. They have games against New England, Indy (road) , Jacksonville, San Diego and Baltimore (road). Those are the games I will measure the Bills with.  :)

I couldn't have said it any better myself!

  3. Kornhieser is funny as hell. I live in DC and used to read his columns (he writes one, once in a blue moon nowadays) and the were sheer brilliance.

Tony & Joe have known eachother for over 20 years, I actually think that the chemistry is there, but it just hasn't manifested itself quite yet on the show because Tony is still getting used to doing the games.

It's still a helluva lot better than Dennis Miller.

  4. The national consensus on Losman is that he was drafted too high and that he should be farther along in his development. They compare him to Philip Rivers, Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger.

Rivers still has the book out on him, but he's looked very good so far.

Eli, though a bit inconsistent, clearly will be a great QB for many years.

All Ben did was win the superbowl.

So, that is what JP is being compared to. It's not difficult to see why they undervalue him in most of our opinions.

JP had played decently well up till the Bears game, but to get your panties up in a bunch because people don't think he is that good is a big thin skinned.

I for one hope that JP will pan out, I have seen many things to tell me he will. However, until he goes in and wins a game like last weekend, he's going to continue to be disrespected (and kind of rightly so).

  5. Just wondering how ESPN can rank Rothlisberger ahead of JP?  Granted none of them want to say that the crown they gave him was for nothing or based off of one season with Bettis.  But come on, the guy has thrown ZERO TD's and 7 interceptions.  He should be way, way, way towards the bottom.

    Second thought...

    Bills 21    Lions 10

    New England  13    Bills 17

4-3 going into the bye-week.  That would be great!!!

    Dude - you're kidding right?
