Shfter reported on Total Acess that the Raiders ARE NOT a player in the Culpepper sweepstakes
Neither is Arizona, Baltimore or New Orleans
It'll be St. Louis for Bulger and a 4th
OR
Miami for a 3rd this year and a conditional 2nd rounder that could reach a number 1
-
Still worth it to keep him.
Also under the new CBA we're allowed to negotiate a contract with him at anytime. There is no deadline
-
PS the deadline to get under the cap is 6pm EST on Friday (today)
Moulds won't be cut anyway
-
You'd just have to hope that like Balitmore or Dallas would want o move up with us for one or the other two Qbs
-
DO IT NEW ORLEANS!
Then take AJ Hawk! Compleltely make everyones mock draft useless!

Panthers | Short released
Thu, 2 Mar 2006 13:57:26 -0800
Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports the Carolina Panthers have released LB Brandon Short.
-
He's been tendered

The worst part of this is that teams now don't have to cut players until Sunday at 6pm
-
With the free agency period set to begin on Friday, March 3, the first order of business for General Manager/Football Operations Marv Levy is to begin the process of exercising their option to make contract offers to their young players, who in effect remain tied to the team.
By tendering offers on the team's Restricted Free Agents (RFA) - a player who just finished his third season in the league and his contract is about to expire - the Bills will be given draft-round compensation should the players sign elsewhere.
The Bills have the right to match any offer on a Restricted Free Agent they have tendered. If they elect not to match an offer on a 'low tender' then the team pursuing him has to give up a draft pick from the round the player was originally drafted. If the player was given a 'high tender' then the team that signs him owes the Bills a first-round pick or more.
An agent can only bring one team's offer to the Bills for a restricted player and if the deal is weak and Buffalo matches the deal, then the player is stuck with a poor contract.
Players with two or fewer years of experience who have no outside negotiating power are considered Exclusive-Rights Free Agents (EFA). Their rights belong to their club provided they are made a minimum qualifying offer.
Restricted Free Agents Tendered
Name Position Round Drafted
Sam Aiken WR 4th Round (2003)
Mario Haggan LB 7th Round (2003)
Josh Stamer LB Undrafted
Exclusive Rights Players Tendered
Name Position Round Drafted
Jabari Greer CB Undrafted
Jason Peters OL Undrafted
Jonathan Smith WR 7th Round (2004)
Shaud Williams RB Undrafted

I hope it's false and the Jets wind up releasing Abraham like the Eagles did with Corey Simon

I guess this is a good place for it but McNair has restructured and will remain a Titan. At least now we know MIami can't get him
Alls fair.
It's currently on ESPNews. I'm sure ESPN will have the article up shortly

Aaron Kampman

You have to readjust again.
Haggan and Stamer were both tendered offers
No news on Aiken
-
Can people please source their cuts as well so we don't have people crapping up the thread with false info
-
Sam Adams came off really classy in his exit interview
-
How many TDs can Lolsman throw to Evans in 1 quater this coming year?
-
Hope is a FS
Also, Rams fans are rather critical of Adam. Most of them say he should be a LB and that he was lost last year in coverage
-
Coy must give a percentage of his clothing sale to Deep Pockets Ralph so he can have a job
-
Josh Reed is a free agent
Coy's being kept for his special teams ability I guess. Plus his salary isn't very high. I guess we're having some competion between Baker, Leohnard and Wire. At least we know Wire will lose that
