  1. I have read through most of the posts about the players we took yesterday and today, and it seems that in every single thread, there are 2 or 3 people who say "should have taken Schmitt". I really have to laugh at all of these people who think a marginally talented fullback will transfrom this offense into the second coming of the K-Gun.....Yeah, I know the guy is "blue collar"...lol.....and btw.....love all of the "wallers" who literally come out of the woodwork for the draft and have nothing but dismal posts for every pick we made!

Agreede. Besides, as I stated in another thread, Corner will be a more impact player than Schmitt.

  2. in the 4th round we should have drafted owen schmitt instead of reggie corner....

..yahh sure schmitt lasted till the end of the 5th round but he is a beast (yaya i kno we already have "beast mode") that we need in the backfield

& yah we could have picked him in the 5th but we needed a new guy to replace stamer and thats wut they got...

i just think that he would have been a really nice addition...

I have a feeling Corner will not only be better but be a better impact player than Schmitt.

  3. I would too. They had a great draft IMO

Notice how he gives Cleveland a nice grade (a B+ ;) )- he factors in them trading their second and third round picks for Corey Williams and Shawn Rogers, for their draft grade. He grades Minnesota's draft on the curve(B  ), factoring in Jared Allen. But he gives us a C+, and does not factor in Marcus Stroud. That tells me he paid little attention to us

All the more reason to show how bad of an "expert" he is when our guys play great.

  4. Good, let him underrate this team. I can wait till we surprise everyone this season and prove him and EVERYONE on ESPN (not Chris Berman) wrong. We are having a great draft.

    Buffalo Bills: GRADE: C+

Cornerback Leodis McKelvin is going to be a very good player and I liked the pick. James Hardy is the big wide receiver the Bills need, someone who can be a threat in the red zone. Virginia Tech DE Chris Ellis is a decent pass-rusher, and I thought CB Reggie Corner and TE Derek Fine were reaches in the fourth round. I did like their late-round picks, RB Xavier Omon, OT Demetrius Bell and WR Steve Johnson.

Like I said before, Mel's one of the biggest Buffalo haters and that C+ is an example.....I can't wait to prove him WRONG! WE WILL SURPRISE EVERYONE!

    FORGET YOU MEL!!!

    Nucleus in bold

    Youth: Average nucleus age 26.47

Signed: 15 out of 17 nucleus players under contract threw 2009

Depth: 19 of 23 players with starting experience

Yup. Young, strong, and fast!

  6. I think this post would work better if we contained our reports to UDFA signings that the Bills actually made. Thus far, I have seen one, Luke Drone. To avoid further confusion, people should probably only post Bills UDFA signings.

or post signing in a completly seperate thread.

  7. WE HAVE A BILLS UDFA SIGNING!!!!!

    per Kffl

Bills | Drone agrees to terms

Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports the Buffalo Bills have agreed to terms with undrafted free-agent QB Luke Drone (Illinois State). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

    Practice squad.

  8. Yes. I'm kicking it off by saying this is the year. If not, we still don't fire Jauron. He's a really good coach I feel that he's like Tom Coughlin in a way. He will lead this team. It's going to take several years to do and I know he's had 2 so far. Anyone know why good team like the Colts and Steelers are good every year......it's because they don't quit on their coaches if something doesn't go right. We need to be firm and be like the Giants, but instead we need to stick by Jauron through thick and thin. We need another 2 years with Jauron. HE WILL LEAD THIS TEAM!
