Chelsea vs Liverpool on Fox if anyone is interested
-
Gotta take the Galaxy. Although I don't really care who wins. I moved to DC about six months ago\ and went to a couple of DC United games they are fun, I hope they get their stadium situation figured out.
-
Yeah, I went to the first game at the Linc. It was sweet. Im trying to get to PPL park this year

First off how many soccer games are played each year because I doubt they are going to draw more than 20.000 a game? How many of those people paid more than 5 bucks a ticket to see the game? Saying soccer games and other C list events will fill up dates justifies out spending your competition by ridiculous amounts just isn't true.
I mean Jerry Jones you could have spent 800-900 million dollars and have gotten the best stadium in the NFL and in the world. If you got 40-50 dates how many of them are going to be near sell outs 18 (8 Cowboys games and 10 college games) the rest are simply filler just to say hey we have a ton of dates.
Soccer and high school football won't draw a whole lot of revenue to the stadium.
well that one got 82000 and the next one is expected to get the same crowd... i think they could host about 20 games a year with half of them selling out...im just saying when you live in a metroplitan area such as Dallas/ Fort Worth its not hard to draw big crowds to "C" list events..but your probably right he could have gotten the same and saved a few hundred million...
this is the article i meant to post

Its still a lot of money on a stadium that is only guaranteed to house 18 sell outs a year (I am going to assume the 10 college games are sell outs or near sell outs). I don't doubt that they are trying to fill as many dates as possible due to the cost. But you can only book so many concerts (very few acts can sell out 80,000 or near 80,000 to justify a stadium concert) and soccer matches aren't going to come close to filling that stadium.
My point is on the actual stadium did you really need a 1.2 Billion dollar price tag? you could have spent 500-700 million on that and still have gotten a really nice stadium (Ford Field in Detroit cost 400 million to make) that could have housed the Cowboys, College football, concerts, and the Super Bowl. To me Jerry Jones wanted to build a 1.2 Billion dollar !@#$ you to the Giants and the Redskins. It wasn't just about luxury boxes or non-shared revenue.
The Cowboys on top of selling PSLs (At really outrageous prices), getting 150 million from the NFL, had to get 325 million from tax payers just to fund that monstrosity. Also they are going to charge 40-75 dollars for parking. And I thought parking at Giants stadium which was about 15 dollars was ridiculous.

I bet they will probaly have more total attendance for soccer than cowboy games...i think if you can get 40-50 events per year it justifys the price tag

its usually early June for season ticket holders and mid July for non season ticket holders.

I understand that he has caused A LOT of problems with other teams. But veterans who have established themselves with great conditioning and work ethic do not always regularly attend these workouts. I guarantee he shows up at some point. He really gets attention for a bunch of nothing sometimes. It has been referenced on ESPN TV and radio ALL day. With interviews from Trent and the ESPN announcers. He really is a lightning rod for everything
OMG
Where have you been the last 8 years. Everything this guy does if big news. What else do you expect?

Dosent the NFL split all jersey sales? So it dosent really matter how many jersey are sold
-
Yes, and tickets in Pittsburgh and Cleveland are always plentiful...
Browns tickets are cheaper than bills tickets
-
awesome. i wasnt sure if they rotated bewtween the east and the west or if they gave it to the team that finished with the most points
-
if the sabres win the presidents trophy do they have home ice in stanley cup?
-
It pretty obvious nate isnt comming back so what kind of deal do you think hes going to get?
Im gonna go with 7 year 60 million with a 19 million dollar bonus.
Im not sure with what team but im sure there will be 10 teams that will puruse him.

1. Why is it that soccer haters constanly tell other people that they dont like it. i dont like baseball but i dont tell others that. i assue they dont really care.
2. Anybody planning on going up to toronto to see a game?
-
Then some other guy goes screaming by looking at my wife, and screams, "I never knew I wanted to bang Willis McGahee....!!!"
haha. i went to a sabres/maple leaf game and some maple leaf fans said the same thing to my girlfreind who was wearing a Briere jeresey. I responded with "Ill let you for the right price."
FYI while it scored me points with the maple leaf fans and they left me alone, my girlfriend did not find it as funny.

The tag would be a franchise tag and the bills would have to find a team willing to give up two first round picks. they could settle for less like 1 first round pick they got for price to atlanta. The bills could tag him with the transitional tag which means that clements gets to sign with another team and the bills can match the deal and keep him.

Anybody know how easy it is to get steeler tickets? Can you get them from the front office or do you have to get them off stubhub or something like that?
I think browns ticket are fairly easy to get.
-
Are any fans are planning to either the browns or steelers away games?. I cant remeber the last time we played at there stadium and if there were many bills fans there. Obviously if depends on when the games are but i think it would be cool to go to a road game.
-
anybody know about how much it would be to rent a bus to either pittsburgh or cleveland. that would be pretty cool.
-
wow. thats sad

does anybody know how i can watch the highlights from billszone.com without logging in? i kno somebody posted them from the dolphins game but i couldnt find the link.

I just had a couple of questions about this place, I plan onheading there tomorrow.
1: Crowd size; is it packed? a few people? or nobody? I'm wanting some serious package here.
2: Family place? I'm only 18 and my father and I are heading there, wanted to know if younger than 21 was allowed for a die hard.
3: Near stadium? If it's near the stadium and parkings bad, not sure if we'llbe going, but it's better than BW3 (we're boycotting due to the fact for 2 weeks theyhaven't shown the Bills game.)
4: How much will we win by?
... Scratch #4...
1. there are usually about 30 bills fans there. it will be more crowded than it has been the previous two weeks becuase the steelers game is at 1.
2. Its a family place. no age limit.
3. its not close to the sadium.
4. 17
