  1. Figured there will be a ton of "wow did you hear this guy got cut?" Or "Holy crayonz on a stick, <insert name here> was canned!"

    So far, surprises have been

    RB: Rudi Johnson

    OT: Willie Anderson

    OT: Joe Toledo

    WR: Ashley Lelie

    DT: Jesse Mahelona

QB: Tyler Palko (For Western PA people)

K: Taylor Mehlhaff (Early in camp was supposed to take over for Gramatica)

Also, the 9'ers waived J.J. Finley, someone who pre-draft was a wanted commodityat OBD.

Any other interesting things or reactions, might as well put 'em here!

  2. Dwight Schrute: Yes, I have decided to shun Andy Bernard Jason Peters for the next three years days... which I'm looking forward to. It's an Amish technique; it's like slapping someone with silence.

Dwight Schrute: I was shunned from the age of 4 until my 6th birthday, for not saving the excess oil from a can of tuna.

    Beats, Bears, Battlestar Galactica.

    God I love Dwight...

But I, too, agree not to mention his name until he's back.

It's like burying your head in sand to not see the image of Muhammed.

  3. Due to my classes for the day being over and my obsession with the Bills, I'm watching footage of last years games, and I can honestly say this:

Along with Marion Barber III, I don't know of ANYONE in the NFL today that wants that 1 extra yard more. Beast Mode for a reason, I honestly think he puts his career on the line every play, it seems like he'd take an ACL tear over losing a yard. He seems to love the team, love the city, and whatever people think poorly about the guy I'd like to know, cause I think he's the cornerstone of this team.

Had to rant about that .

    Go Bills.

  4. Not necessarily because I'm a diehard pathetic fan, but you have to like when a learned, probable HoF coach says you'll be a good team this year. A guy whose job has been to study other teams his entire career (rather than run against them or hit them) and plan, he must see tough match ups on this team.

Living in Steeler country, I have a distaste for Pittsburgh, but have always respected his play calling, smarts, and leadership.

Big Jauron fan (almost said big Dick fan...), but wouldn't mind seeing the chin on the Bills sidelines!

  5. hahaha, I'm definitely scared of that dynamic Jets OL. This is a tangent, but that comment made me think about something. Does anyone else get really annoyed when people talk about the jets and how good their offensive line is and use D'brickishaw as an example. I mean since he was a high pick and people know his name, and he's started every game the last couple years people assume he's good when the fact is the guy can't pass block to save his life. Schoebel, Jason Taylor, and Richard Seymour all abuse him twice a year. If he was a quarterback who was that high a pick and had performed as badly people would be talking about what a bust he is, but since no one pays attention to linemen people just assume he's good because they've heard of him.

I also love how people think that throwing a brand new left guard and right tackle in to a new system with a new quarterback automatically takes a team from being a projected 4-12 to 9-7, 10-6.

Ha... never heard of adding a new LG and RT with a new quarterback before...:lol:

  6. When Reed went down, the second and third teamers moved up, so when Matt Baker had one less person to throw to, tada, CJ Hawthorne.

The guy was phenomenal in college, I hope he ends up with a team that'll be able to utilize him.
