There is so much information coming out, I actually wonder if it is a smoke screen and they are not planning to trade up. Otherwise,  all this info coming out is making them look almost desperate and that will cost them.

Agree.  The difference between the second and 4th or 5th QB in this years draft is minimal.  No where near giving up picks for.  I pray it's a smoke screen.

I think Allen, Darnold, Rosen and Mayfield are all going to be good QBs, and at the very least will be serviceable starting QBs.  we just need to trade up to snag one of them because not one of them will be available at 12.

I see if the Bills DON'T trade up they'll get the 4th QB in the draft.  Also, think Rudolph is in the mix.

I can’t see how the bills end up with a qb from this draft outside of Jackson or Rudolph, both of whom would be a wasted pick. They just picked the wrong year to break the drought. Bad luck as always.

I don't like Jackson.... but sign me up for Rudolph and keeping all your picks.  The difference between the 1 - 6 QB's in the draft in minimal.  All have flaws and there is no lock.  Half will fail.  I don't want to do another Sammy Watkins deal.  If you look at the analytics of the QB class, Rudolph is 1 or 2 on a majority of categories.  For some of us Depressing would by trading away four picks for let's say Rosen, and he gets injured constantly.

Good post. I see your thought process.

However, Im not sure I would agree on this.

Beane clearly is moving picks/players to gain draft capital this year and spending money next year. I think he is fully prepared to sacrifice this years first rounders and 2019s first to get their guy (who I’m starting to think is Rosen). This move leaves them with second and third round talents to add a couple starters, and depth at the least. These moves also allows them to be extremely aggressive in FA 2019 to make up for the lost first rounder.

These guys seem prepared for this, even with the Jets move. I’ve got to imagine they were anticipating, or aware, that a QB needy team was looking to move up and have a contingency plan that allows them to still follow through on their plan.

But who knows, apparently we don't know squat!

I agree to trust the process as original post mentioned.  Many assume most of the trades were made to make more trades for one of the top 3 spots.  I'm not sure I agree.  What if the process is.... The difference between the 1 - 6 QB's in minimal, there is no lock, 3 of them could be a bust, lets be in a place where we are guaranteed one of the top QB's (4th, 5th or 6th) taken, without trading away all are picks that we can fill holes with.

    ??

At 12 the Bills will get the fourth QB in draft.  Arizona is not, does not have the picks, trading up.  They picked up 2 veterans QB will be looking for a project

Baker Mayfield is absolutely who I'm praying for in a trade up to 10. I'd like to trade down from 22 and recoup the lost draft picks though. Wouldn't mind Rudolph or Lauletta in the 3rd on top of Mayfield at 10.

I agree.  If a trade to 10 didn't happen I'm good with taking Rudolph at 22, bringing in Bradford and keeping Peterson

All this QB talk is great but the safest pick, and the best pick in this draft is Penn State running back Saquan Barkley. I've watched him throughout college and he will be one of the BEST running backs to play this game when all is said and done. The things he does on the field is jaw dropping and off the field he's a stand up guy.

Trade McCoy to get rid of that contract AND to get younger AND better. Trade up to #2 and get the future Hall of Famer and build around him.

Sign a QB like Bradford, draft a QB in the 2nd round and let him sit a year to learn.

This will get us on the path of winning consistently

To bad they can't categorize posts.  Stuff like this should have a separate category of "little to know knowledge of football"

I disagree.  Not exactly who I want, but he is an upgrade over Tyrod.  He at least scans the field and throws an accurate ball.  Actually throws to receivers instead of dump offs or throwing over their heads.

I think they would still draft a QB like White or Rudolph in this scenario.

I agree.  Keenum is a major upgrade in passing.   Draft White in the 3rd.  Fill our other holes.  Also, agree with other post Darnold is a turn over machine and Jackson is Tyrod 2.0 + more turnovers!

Foles and bradford are other options not on list

Foles is staying with Philadelphia.  Why would they trade him?  He will probably start the first 4 to 6 games.

  9. I'd be happy with this.... Keeping our draft picks

a fool's task, to be sure, but let's unfurl our DEEPLY UNRELIABLE SIGNAL-CALLING MATCHMAKER-BOT 1.0, which quickly and haphazardly pairs available veteran and draft-eligible quarterbacks with needy teams:

    » Browns: Baker Mayfield

    » Giants: Josh Rosen

    » Broncos: Kirk Cousins

    » Jets: Sam Darnold

» Dolphins: Stay put with Ryan Tannehill

» Cardinals: Josh Allen, Tyrod Taylor

    » Bills: Case Keenum

    » Vikings: Teddy Bridgewater
